Jennifer & Tony were fantastic hosts; personable, quick replies, and proactive. The house was amazing, even better than the pictures. The backyard was huge and perfect to have the kids play. The beds were so comfy. Perfect house to be home base when visiting the area. I definitely recommend this place and the hosts. Looking forward to next year's visit "back home".

We had our 9 person family here with our 3 dogs and the space was perfect. Lots of games and pool time for the kids and adults alike. The charcoal grill was hard to get right but we are just not used to dealing with that type of grill! Lots of hiking in nearby areas.

Richard's place was great and as described. We will stay there again when in the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sarah’s Farmhouse. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Both Sarah and Maxwell were very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

I booked the house for 6 adults and we were very satisfied with our stay. The house was nice and comfortable for all of us. The kitchen/living room were fantastic and offered a great place for us all to hang out. The house and surroundings were relaxing and we enjoyed the hot tub and the fishing dock. We saw a lot of wildlife and enjoyed a nice walks around the lake. Olena was nice and responsive and we'd rent from her again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with lovely views of the river. Everything we needed was provided and we liked the layout of the house. Regarding sleeping accommodations, there are beds for 6 people (2 queens with twin bunks above each) and additional sleeping options are provided via a pull-out sofa and 2 futons.

This Airbnb is a dream. From the beautiful property to the beautiful home, we loved every minute of our time. Everything was very clean, organized and easy to find. They even went above and beyond to return items that we had forgotten in the house. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a private retreat or good quality family time.

We had a great stay! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here with a couple of her friends and everyone loved the house. All the rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Hosts responded quickly and were accommodating.

This was one of the best stays my family and I have had! The barn itself is beautiful, but what my boys enjoyed the most was the property. We got lucky with a beautiful 50° December day. We walked the trails, threw rocks in the pond and went on scavenger hunts. Highly recommend staying here!

The home was spotless clean. The furnishings were really good! Plenty of bath towels and hand towels. Although, I would recommend a bar in the bathroom to hang a hand towel on. The kitchen was well stocked. I appreciated the cream packs and sugar for the coffee. They had plenty of coffee for us to use. The beds were comfortable and had a good amount of bedding and pillows. My kids loved the swing set and playhouse in the back yard. The neighbors had ducks in the backyard which they loved talking to and hearing quack as well! We weren’t sure how to lock the front door when we left, so we just locked the back door and walked around to the front. Great house, would definitely recommend and look to stay in again if in the area.

We enjoyed the privacy of the farmhouse and the location to Utica, Starve Rock and our family and friends. It was a very hot weekend, but the breeze across the cornfields was welcoming. The kitchen has a nice array of basic needs. The crockpot made meal time very convenient. The beds we used were very comfortable. Thank you George for your hospitality and sharing the farmhouse with us.

We enjoyed our week stay in Lacon, IL. It is a quaint small town on the IL River. The house has 2 stories with 3 generous sized bedrooms (no TV’s) on the 2nd floor and 1 bath (bath tub/shower combo). There is plenty of closet space with shelves and hanging area (no dressers). The beds, pillows and linens are super comfy!!! There is a first floor bath with a smaller walk-in shower, as well as a wash and dryer in a large separate room which could serve as a bedroom if there was an airbed or sofa bed. The kitchen had all the amenities like a Keurig duo coffee maker, microwave deluxe gas stove, french door refrigerator, toaster, dishwasher, dishes and pots and pan. There was also an outdoor gas grill which we did not use. The back of the house features a large wood deck that is older and has a rectangular table with 6 chairs. The basement was locked and not accessible. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles if needed. The leather furniture was clean with surface scratches. Large TV with wifi.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood near downtown. I would stay there again for sure. It's an older house, but nice and roomy and complete kitchen. Nice front porch. Wifi worked great. You do need to do a bit more clean up and sheets to the laundry when leaving but then you avoid a cleaning fee- so that can be worth the effort but do leave extra ten or 15 minutes for chores at the end

Literally one of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. Very peaceful and quiet and has a homey atmosphere. Will definitely be staying here again. Ms.Dawn was also very helpful and responsive to all of my questions! Literally the perfect stay I did not want to leave.

We loved the place. House is big and has many rooms. Lot of games to play while staying. Location is easy to find and close to everything. Love the backyard. Would love to come back again.

Cathy’s place was exactly what we needed when staying a couple of nights for a Saturday wedding in Morris. Clear instructions & she was very responsive and helpful. Very glad we chose to stay here rather than a hotel!

The house is exactly as described in listing. Flexible check in, and easy communication. We loved the location, and nice AC. We didn’t get to enjoy the cutest backyard since it rained on the arrival day. 100% recommend to others.

Amazing place, stunning views, and incredible amenities. We’d give it 6 stars if we could. The early morning hot tub over looking the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. From billiards, to fishing, driving golf balls into the lake, and games galore, this place is fun for the whole family! The friendly and knowledgeable host provides a river themed stay and adventure that we will never forget.

This place has everything I was looking for. Tyler and his family met us at check in and were very friendly. My parents drove in from Arizona with their trailer and Tyler was nice enough to let them park it on the property for the duration of the stay. Even with the trailer, there was still a ton of land for their two large dogs and our little dog to run around and enjoy themselves. The hot tub and fire pit area were great and they even left a huge bundle of wood for us to use.The house was immaculate and decorated nicely. The house has a lot of history that you can read about in one section of the house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee mugs and silverware. The dishwasher made clean up easy. The dining room had a large table where we enjoyed all our family meals. There is a washer and dryer that we used while there that was very convenient. In all The whole house/land was very clean, private and spacious. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at Sheila's airbnb! Her cabin house was beautiful and very homey. Decorated with antique furniture, quilts, & wood floors, but mixed with modern upgrades such as new bathrooms and kitchen. It was stocked with all the essentials and she responded quickly to any questions we had. It was also fun to walk down the nearby river paths and check out the local coffee shops. We definitely hope to stay there again!
