Fantastic stay with Joana in her beautiful and serene Airbnb. Highly, highly recommend, the photos don’t do the space justice. Every morning, Joana prepares a delicious breakfast for her guests. We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a wonderful multi-generational family gathering at Lisa's house. The living room and pool area provided a comfortable gathering place enhanced by the beautiful landscaping and convenient location. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating and even sent photos of the baby crib and highchair in advance to reassure us that our 9 month old grandchild would be comfortable. She helped us plan our day trip to Lisbon, provided a chef, and a wonderful babysitter for our last night dinner out. She was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience easy. The house is very tastefully furnished and the layout is well designed. Having the heated pool was a special treat. The manual for the house was such a helpful resource with links to recommended sites. We appreciated the effort taken to communicate all the information about the house and area in such an organized way. Thank you Lisa and Peter for a wonderful stay at your lovely Comporta home.

We had an awesome stay at Edite's house. The house is located in a small village named Arez, which is an excellent location to use as a base to explore the Alentejo region. Many interesting places (beautiful beaches, ruins, historical sites, etc.) are within 30 minutes or an hour drive thus making this location ideal for day trips. The house is super super clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The quiet outdoor area, with amazing views of rice fields and countryside, is ideal for enjoying an outdoor meal. The beds are comfortable and even the beautiful cotton linens were pressed! Our host (Edite) was such a pleasure to get to know as she is so personable and accommodating. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxed environment surrounded by friendly people, Edite's house is the place. We've stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, and this property stands out as one of the best. A huge thank you to Edite for helping to make our Portuguese vacation a wonderful experience!!!

Absolutely gorgeous and very well equipped house with a lovely pool in a nice quarter not far from Comporta. Beautiful surroundings (trees/forest right behind the house) and close to the beach. Margarida was always responsive and happy to provide us with information and help. Thanks again for letting us stay here Margarida!

Het appartement is compleet en erg schoon. Het zwembad is ook schoon. Alleen jammer dat er geen ligstoelen aanwezig zijn. Wel een ligplaats in het gras. Voor een verblijf voor een stadsreis is het zeker een aanrader. Op loopafstand van de wijk Belem en met de tram in 20 minuten in het centrum. Daar zal je beslist niet zo’n mooi appartement vinden. Ik zal het appartement iedereen aanraden.

Prez est un excellent hôte. Il a pris le temps de bien nous expliquer le logement et nous donné une multitude de recommandations locales et touristiques. Nous avons aussi adoré la piscine pour les journée chaude. Tranquille avec beaucoup de chaise et très refraichissante Un peu plus éloigné du centre mais seulement à 20 min à pied de l’arrêt des bus touristique. Je recommande à tous !

Maria was a responsive friendly host and has a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom appartment situated about a 15 min walk downhill to both the Marina & town of Cascais. The walk back up is very manageable unless you have mobility issues but there are scooters you can hire if you wish. It comes with an underground car park space too. Showers and all facilities worked fine and the TV is a Smart TV so you can access Netflix, Youtube etc. We found the Pool area to be lovely but not used much at all. There -are 2 supermarkets nearby -the smaller & closer one (5 mins away opens 8-8pm apart from Sund (8-1pm). Cascais is sublime -sandy clean beaches, great restaurants (try the Marina area too) and friendly people. It has a lovely vibe, If staying here -Sintra is a must (but book Palace beforehand) & Lisbon is worth a visit (1 day is plenty -go by Uber (€15) & return by Train (€5)) . Loads of great golf in the area too.

Excellent apartment, host and location! From the time we booked Natasha was responsive and helpful. She left very clear instructions and lots of recommendations. The apartment was in a very nice area easily walkable to the center of the city in less than 10 minutes. There was a beautiful view of the castle from the patio and my children loved the pool which was very well maintained. It was very child friendly in general including toys, books, and kitchenware for children. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

This is a lovely well equipped 2 bed apartment in the Bairro do Rosario suburb of Cascais. Communication with the host was excellent and the garden and pool area are a real bonus. It is a 15 min walk to de Inferno and a good 35 min walk into the centre of Cascais. However there are bus stops close by to the apartment which have regular timetables. There are a number of lovely restaurants close by at Casa de Guia, and the Ophelia cafe on the next street is lovely for breakfast whilst the sacolinha bakery at the end of the street is excellent. The small supermarket at the end of the street is good for small amounts, the large Pingo Doce 5 mins walk away has a much larger selection. A very relaxing stay

Wij hadden een geweldig verblijf in Paderne! Alles van in de advertentie was aanwezig, het was heel erg proper. We hebben genoten van het leuke zwembad, alsook van de prachtige zonsondergangen op het dakterras! Wel opgelet: de sleutelhoudster praat geen Engels, enkel Portugees, wat de communicatie sterk bemoeilijkte. Na lange tijd hadden we begrepen dat we een toeristentax moesten betalen via een bepaalde website. Bij het uitchecken kwam ze terug om alles te controleren, alle keukenkasten openen en controleren of alles nog aanwezig was,... Op zich geen probleem als je dit vooraf weet en tijd genoeg rekent om te kunnen vertrekken. Tip 1: navigeer via de kaart van Airbnb naar de woning, dit bevat de exacte locatie. Er is geen straatnaam, dus het is moeilijk te vinden zonder de kaart Tip 2: Neem zeker toiletpapier en vaatwastabletten mee vanuit de winkel, er waren slechts 2 wc-rollen en 2 vaatwastabletten beschikbaar voor ons voor 8 dagen. Dus dit is ook handig om vooraf te weten!

Great house! Beautiful surroundings and lovely interior inside with well equipt kitchen. Great to have the house cleaned everyday. Very helpful recommendations too. Great communication from owner and housekeeper. Would love to come back.

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations! This is the first Air BnB I have stayed in where the rooms are even nicer than the pics! We stayed here with our adult children for 8 days and absolutely loved it! The property is nicer than some 5 star resorts we have stayed in. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need and the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet! Rui and Teresa greeted us upon arrival and were responsive anytime we had questions. There were restaurants within walking distance but also Ubers and Bolts were plentiful and inexpensive. I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Rui and Teresa!

We had a fabulous time at José's place. He was there with a warm welcome when we arrived, showed us around and explained everything. He was extremely responsive when we sent messages and had questions. Nothing was too much trouble for him to ensure we were happy and had a great time. The house is a quaint little house from the 1930s that has been renovated to bring in modern comforts, but still retaining charming details like the original floor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for all the cooking and BBQing we did. We really enjoyed our stay.

Monte Meco was a lovely property - a sunny little haven just a stones throw away from Silves and easy to get to the coast. Very welcoming and we would not hesitate to recommend to friends and relatives.

We had an incredible stay at Susan's property. The former caretakers house was immaculate. Super clean, super comfortable, and included wonderfol amenities. Susan was the perfect hostess and incredibly generous and caring to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool, walking through the fruit trees, and using the BBQ. The property is truly special and we are so grateful we had a chance to stay there and experience it.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

A great escape from the city with the best view of Lisbon.
