Cosy and cozy cottage in the virois bocage, very quiet and very well equipped. Loved it and enjoyed the spacious relaxing and leisure greenhouse, perfect for a weekend in Normandy weather! Mark and Caroline, thanks again! We will definitely be back, in the meantime, we would recommend it without hesitation.

Brian and Jeanette are the perfect hosts. If you want to be surrounded by nature and beautiful countryside this is a wonderful spot. The location is great, close to the coast and many interesting towns and villages. The local bar tabac is definitely worth a stop for a beer or coffee. There is plenty to explore but if you just want to relax then hanging out at Apple Tree Gites is a great option. We will be back.

We stayed in a nice house, with a jacuzzi, the hosts were welcoming and the house was clean. We had a great stay in this little relaxing corner. Thanks again for hosting.

The extended weekend was magical, the hosts are welcoming, friendly and attentive. Special mention for the hearty breakfast, the soothing setting and Sophie's travel and outing recommendations in a very clear book. The information is useful and saves us valuable time. Sophie's husband is also very attentive and has taken into account all our requests. He ensures the proper functioning of the spa on a daily basis. We rented the loft with spa and it will be a memorable stay. Go for it, you won't regret it :)

We had a great family holiday at La Reverie. The pool was perfect and the hot tub an added bonus. The Gite is located a 10 minute drive from the lovely beach at Gouville-sur-Mer and further equally beautiful beaches are nearby. The pastries from the Boulangerie made the perfect breakfast and James’ recommendations for places to eat were excellent. The Gite is comfy with plenty of space and a well-equipped kitchen though an instruction manual is needed, which we understood James is in the process of compiling.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in the cottage. A few days in the area were spent with our dog visiting Saint Malo, Mont St Michel, lunch in Saint-Suliac and a local walk along the river. We loved the pretty enclosed garden and enjoyed having our breakfast there whilst listening to the birds. We really appreciated the home from home feel, the comfy beds and the crisp white linens. Many thanks again Fiona for putting some groceries in for us, this was really very kind and very much appreciated. We would highly recommend a stay and would love to return in the future!

I'm not saying how much I liked it, because I wish I could go back. A very beautiful month of May, sunny, windy, a peninsula with beautiful coasts. I would gladly go back there with 5° more to enjoy the garden more. and to check that all the birds are still there!

Where to start with this review.. this is hands down the best air bnb we’ve ever found and i’m so glad we came across it. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s absolutely stunning. Our dogs loved the garden which was fully enclosed. The interior had great attention to detail, the kitchen was amazing to cook in and we really felt so at home here. Location wise it was within perfect distance from everywhere we wanted to visit (Granville, St Malo, Mont Saint-Michel) and had fab amenities within 10-15 minutes. The closest bakery was a 3 minute car ride. One of our highlights were the neighbours who we feel deserve a special shout out - Lesley and Rene went above and beyond to help us whenever we needed it. They also gave us some great recommendations for dog walks, beaches and local markets. We’d of been lost without them, so thank you Lesley and Rene. Don’t think twice about booking this place! A wonderful place to stay in rural Normandy. Jean-Francois is an excellent, friendly & helpful host. La Baronnie offers everything you need for a peaceful getaway, with excellent outdoor space to complement the cosy lounge and kitchen/diner. Gouvets is a lovely quiet village with nice walks, and well located for the major sights and attractions of Normandy

This place exceeded our expectations in so many ways that there are likely an insufficient number of characters to capture it. Sandra’s home and the surrounding area were more than welcoming. Having the ability to see Mont St Michel from the property during different times of day and weather conditions was amazing. There are lush fields to gaze over. We were fortunate enough to experience a sheep parade, not once but twice as they traveled down the narrow town road to pasture. The restaurant, literally a stone’s throw away, had food that was unbelievably good (as was the cider) and we easily could have eaten there every day. We saw goats on the walking trail that looks to loop around a significant radius, all with a view of Mont St Michel. The home was quaint and comfortable. Sandra was a joy to work with. We literally couldn’t ask for anything more. As I said, there are insufficient characters and you probably have better things to do (such as booking this place) than read any mor

The house is beautifully redone and very comfortable. All you need and more is there. Odile is a warm, attentive and charming host. She is the perfect host. We keep coming back bc we love it there.

Fantastic and comfortable. The beds also were comfy. The area, immediate neighbors, etc, absolutely perfect.

We enjoyed staying at this Airbnb very much! The facility is great and you feel right at home. It was also great that there was a high chair and a baby bed, as well as toys. The kitchen was well equipped and the location was perfect to live quietly and still be in a busier environment in 15 minutes by car. I also give the stay 5 stars because Lilli and Edouard were excellent in communication and also their recommendations (especially the restaurant Comete!!) were great. We would gladly come back. The only thing you should know if you come with a baby and sleep on the first floor: The bed and the door squeak a lot, but as long as the baby doesn't mind that when sleeping, that's not a problem! Everything was perfect and as described! Thank you 😍

A huge congratulations and thank you Isabelle and Tony! We came with our family to discover the region, visit Mont St Michel, its Normandy surroundings and discover Brittany nearby. Hortense's house is superb, tastefully arranged, very clean and with a very well equipped kitchen and a spotless bathroom. The living room is ultra pleasant and bright, with a very soothing rural view with in the distance the Mont which is distinguished by good weather and the three bedrooms on the ground floor are very pretty with very good bedding. Communication with Isabelle was immediately very warm, both accurate and simple, with valuable recommendations to make our stay ultra enjoyable. Go for it, you won't be disappointed and you'll have a great and refreshing holiday!

Philippe's cottage is of high quality, the environment is very quiet and the cottage is well located. The amenities are quality, everything was as advertised Philippe and his wife are very welcoming and available. We warmly recommend!

Joelle was very friendly, helpful and practically always approachable. The tips we got from her were very helpful. We would recommend Joëlle again and again! A further booking there would be possible.

A very nice little cottage in Normandy. We felt very comfortable. The two hosts Francois and Valerie are very warm and were always ready to answer questions. The two have many tips on what to do in the area. There is a large garden with seating that you can use for yourself. The cottage is very nicely decorated. The bathroom is a little cramped due to the sloping ceilings - therefore less suitable for tall people. We had a very nice vacation.

Quiet stay in a picturesque hamlet, not far from Coutances to participate in the Jazz festival under the apple trees.
