FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Unique and cozy home in newly renovated old plant for rafts. Timber floating took place over many years on the creeks in the area until the 60 's. The nearest neighbor is a beaver family in the creek next door. Swimming area with pier approx. 600 meters. Rowing boat and 2 canoes can be freely disposed of in Lake Bosjön. It is very sparse traffic in the area so you experience the silence along with the sounds of nature. Bedding and towels are provided for a cost of SEK 100/person. Wooden fire sauna by the lake can be rented.

Vittebyviken

Welcome to Vittebyviken! Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation with wonderful views of the lake Fryken, access to sauna, jetty and its own sandy beach. The house is located on the east side of the lake, 6 km from Sunne center, opposite Rottneros Park, Sunnes golf course and Västanå Teater. Two cats are in the yard who are happy to take company if you want to stroll around the garden.
