Holiday rentals with a patio in Gravina di Catania

Alessio's apartment was easy to find. Alessio was easily accessible and responded quickly to questions. He had good recommendations and was very friendly. We would come back, we liked it very much :)

Had a very nice stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of Mount Etna from one balcony where we could have breakfast in the shade in the morning. But if we wanted sun, we would sit on the other balcony overlooking the sea and the garden below. If we had any questions, Aretas responded very quickly and kindly. We soon felt at ease and we were very happy with the parasol that was present. The restaurant opposite the apartment complex is recommended! The Airbnb is a pleasant base for surrounding cities and nature reserves.

An absolutely perfect stay! The host gave us a very warm and friendly welcome. He took the time to show us everything important in the apartment and made us feel at home right away. One of the highlights was the helpful tips he gave us about Catania, we even received a printed handout with key sights, restaurant recommendations, and information on public transportation, all clearly marked. That was incredibly valuable and made exploring the city much easier. The apartment itself was beautiful, even better than in the pictures. Everything was spotless, well-equipped, and nothing was missing. What really stood out was how thoughtfully and lovingly the entire space was designed, with great attention to detail throughout. The terrace was also very nice and a great spot to relax. And with the hot temperatures, the air conditioning was truly a lifesaver! We felt completely comfortable and at home. This was by far the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommended!

We were very pleased with our stay. Carla is a very nice and always available hostess who makes you feel well taken care of. The apartment is very nice overall. The beds were comfortable, and both the linens and towels were clean. Our personal highlight was the view...simply fantastic! We also liked the pool area, but the loungers were unfortunately a bit uncomfortable. Convenient: There are two paths into town. Unfortunately, we only discovered easier and faster access after a few days...a little tip for future guests to take a look around right at the beginning. Overall we had a very nice time and can absolutely recommend the place. Thank you, Carla, for the warm hospitality!

Brilliant stay! Roberto really was a 5* host. He went above & beyond to make our stay easy & enjoyable, and the place itself was a wonderful fit for our needs. Spent a very nice 3 nights here, and very happy with our stay. Had excellent pizzas at local restaurants recommended by Gabriella, and nearby bakery was top notch. Absolutely requires a car. If you can handle Sicilian driving then the driveway is not a big deal. Plan on 1 hour drives to Etna, Taormina, Catania.

This en-suite room including a kitchenette matches the photos and the balcony is a bonus, where you can have a drink or a bite with a garden view. The location is great! There are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and of course the seafront and promenade. I think this place was good value for money and the local recommendations were very helpful.

Gennaro and his family are great and very kind hosts. Flat is located in clean and safe modern part of town just 20 minutes walk from Piazza del Duomo, trough authentic streets, old buildings, parks and local markets. AliBus Connection with Airport is perfect, AliBus station is just in the front of the building. Central bus station is 10 minutes walk down the streat. Local food stores and Lidl are located next to the building. Restaurants that Gennaro recommend are close and affordable with good food on the menu. Definitely we will come back again, highly recommend!

The apartment is charming and spacious and there is also a private terrace that we used a lot. The location is excellent both for reaching the center on foot and for reaching external locations by car. There is always parking a short distance from the house. Luigi was impeccable and available at all times, always ready to give advice on what to do or where to eat and also to intervene to solve any problem. Moreover, he had the foresight to leave us basic necessities on arrival to make us feel immediately welcomed. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Gaia’s place in Sicily. The house was absolutely huge—more like a palace! All three bedrooms were spacious and had their own en-suites, making it incredibly comfortable for our group. The location was just a short, easy walk from the town centre, where you’ll find plenty of great cafes and restaurants. Gaia was the perfect host—warm, friendly, and welcoming. She took the time to show us around the house and even sent us Google Maps links to her recommended spots, which was a really thoughtful touch. We genuinely couldn’t fault the place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The accommodation was perfect, the space is even more spacious than it looks in the photos. Very nice rooms and the master bathroom is superb. The view is breathtaking! Two terraces that give a direct view of Etna and the city. What a pleasure to have breakfast with such a view! The pool is very nice and the deckchairs/garden chairs are very comfortable. Please note that access to the pool is only allowed until 6:30 p.m. The hosts live on the ground floor of the house but remain very discreet. The kitchen was very well equipped. As a bonus, small touches for us, such as bread, jams, nutella, small cakes and refreshing drinks on arrival. We felt at home and will come back without hesitation if we return to the area 👍🌸🙃🤩

Adorable cottage with incredible views! It was perfect location for the three of us. Smack in the middle between Teormina and Catania with gorgeous Reposto in between. That is if you have a car. The accommodations are just as described and on the photos. Maybe a little more of a seating area in the living room would be fantastic since that is where the internet is the strongest. Otherwise the garden, the jacuzzi, the neighborhood - all are beyond enjoyable! We would love to come back. Oh, yes, if you are thinking about hiking Mount Etna - just ask Andrea! You would have the BEST experience possible!!!!

What a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, with homemade wine, olive oil, and fresh cherries from the garden. The hospitality was truly exceptional. Thanks to the fantastic recommendations, we discovered restaurants we never would have found on our ohne and each one was a hidden gem. The accommodation itself is full of character and charm. Every piece of furniture and decoration seems to have its own story. And the view was absolutely breathtaking! We couldn’t get enough of it. All in all, a perfect holiday with plenty of relaxation. We’d love to come back! Thank you for everything!

Renatos Apartment in Aci Castello is great. Everything you need is in walking distance, the apartment is beautifully renovated and super clean. Renato himself was extremely helpful with recommendations and super flexible regarding our checkin / checkout times. I can highly recommend this place!!

Clear recommendation. Ottavio was a very pleasant host. We spent 11 wonderful days here and enjoyed the location of this apartment. We were able to travel from here to the east coast of Sicily very comfortably by bus and train. The apartment was sensational for this. It is only a few steps from the metro. Within a few minutes, we were at the main train station and one stop further in the tourist center of Catania. The first coffee in the sun on the terrace sweetened our start to the day. The beds are very good, the pillows were okay. We were able to cook very well here but the pizzerias and the ice cream shop nearby are highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Giuseppe’s. The apartment was beautiful, we had everything what we needed there. We loved the location as well and Giuseppe is such a thoughtful host! We will definitely come back when we’re in Catania. Thanks Giuseppe for the wonderful stay!

Conveniently located close to the main area and easy to access from the airport via public transport. Very authentic Sicily - the place came with great recommendations of places to go and foods to try. I very stupidly left some jewellery in the apartment and realised about half way to the airport. It had no monetary value but extremely high sentimental value - Claudia was so helpful and was able to get it from the cleaners and send it back to me!!! I am forever grateful!!! Some things to note regarding the apartment: 1. There are a few flights of stairs to tackle to get up to the apartment. 2. on the first night we stayed the noise from the bar next door was VERY loud in the main bedroom, consider earplugs. Everything was as described and easy to find and host communication was great!

We had a great stay in Catania! The apartment was close to heaps of great bars and restaurants, and although the entrance was right in a busy area for nightlife, the property felt secluded and quiet in its own little courtyard. Would stay again if I’m ever in Catania.

Once in a lifetime property right in the center of town. An absolute must stay if you are in Catania. Gaetano was an absolutely wonderful host. We will be back to stay during our next visit to Sicily!

This was a magical finale to our week traveling through Sicily. This apartment had the most stunning views (even our taxi drivers commented on how amazing the location was) and Dorotea provided taxi recommendations to get into town. We were close enough to both city center and Isola Bella to experience all of Taormina. Nothing can beat watching the sunrise from the patio! The AC was also great. Dorotea was incredibly helpful and made the experience so easy and enjoyable.
