We had a magical stay in the beautiful space. The village is unique and intriguing, the gelateria superb and the Caminetta restaurant friendly and the food delicious. There is so much to explore in the vicinity-Parma,Modena, Bobbio, Milan-but the space is so fantastic that it's a wrench even to leave the gorgeous garden and pool. The caretaker, Roxane was so friendly and helpful as was everyone associated with the house. This is a real home, so it's superbly equipped for cooking, reading, lounging and its sense of history is enthralling. The guided tour of the castle was fascinating and highly recommended. This is historically, culturally, geologically and gastronimically a richly rewarding part of Italy to explore. The tiny gastronomia in Volgozone is a terrific excuse for not cooking and the zero kilometer wines are a great discovery. Cannot recommend this highly enough. A dream of a holiday.

We had a great time. Fausta and Andrea provided us with every comfort and even welcomed us with a cake prepared by Fausta! The apartment is very clean, well-stocked (especially the kitchen) and very spacious. Fausta is super kind and hospitable. Highly recommended.

Antonio is a precise and super helpful host! We were able to adjust the check-in time, he gave us great tips on activities and restaurants in the area. Accommodation in a lovely place, in hilly territory, offers the possibility of nature walks! Very well-stocked apartment, a few years old but with several improvements already made! Recommended!
