Beachfront holiday rental in Great Yarmouth

Dunwich is a beautiful seaside village with an interesting history. Beach was good (by North Sea standards but be sure to either have feet like old boots or preferably a pair of swimming shoes. The house is perfect for a family get as ours was with grandparents, maiden aunts, youngish couple and a toddler. Everything you could need and more.

This was our second time staying at Laura’s place. It’s a great spot, close to beach and town and perfect for our young family (children aged 5 and 3). Hopefully we’ll be back again!

Myself, my partner and family stayed in this property for my mums 60th. The cottage was as lovely as you can see in the pictures. The property was spotless and had a very homely feel to it. It was also a great size for 6 people. The area was super quiet and peaceful, with a lovely beach 15/20 minutes walk away. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Fabulous cottage in a lovely sedate setting. Perfect for short breaks near the sea. Paul provided lots of valuable information on the local area which was really useful. Would happily return and recommend Paul as a host. Thank you!

Beautiful, well equipped little Chalet by Bacton beach, felt, homely and private. Very clean And, Very usable for cooking, had a BBQ. Spacious bedrooms, comfy beds. Shower great. Shop very convenient. Great Chinese Takeaway. Ruth very responsive. We felt happy and relaxed and were able to use the space like it was just our own. Lovely stay, thanks so much for the memories.

We loved our stay. We spent 4 nights with our dog. Firstly it was lovely and clean with everything you need, we felt at home straight away. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the lovely beach and you can sit outside and see the sea - something not many places can actually say. It’s on a holiday park which is very peaceful and quiet. We can recommend walking down the beach to the Poachers Pocket pub - it’s about 10/15mins and even serves breakfast or a morning coffee. The overall location is also so easy to get around for days out in the Broads. We loved it And highly recommend.

Beautiful property. Spacious and well appointed. Location is perfect for exploring the Norfolk coast. Hosts were wonderful, very responsive and took the time to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Booked for a last minute stay and couldn’t have been happier! Everything was super clean, and the furnishings were beautiful, made me feel right at home. Convenient features like AirCon and Laundry were a plus! Definitely exceeded my expectations! The location was 10/10 as well, right next to the beach, and all of the tourist attractions, which was great! Will certainly be staying here again!

We had a great week in this bright and cosy holiday Chalet. The advertising photos in my opinion show it for exactly what it is. The accommodation had everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. We had some lovely warm sunny weather whilst we were there for the week so it was in a great location for coastal runs/walks and nice beaches not far. The White Horse Inn was also an added bonus just a stones throw away, with descent pub grub. We also used the Chinese takeaway next to the pub which was very satisfying. We are a family of four with a 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter and we would all recommend this chalet and location if you enjoy a peaceful environment with lots to do without having to travel too far. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had such a lovely time. Location was peaceful and the accommodation was perfectly placed for planned activities and so close to the beach. Inside was clean and lovely and warm and Hannah was fantastic at answering any questions very quickly and also making sure we were settled in. Thank you.

Fantastic place right in the middle so access to north and south beaches by car. Amanda is the best host, welcoming, very quick response to all our needs and offered us early check-in. Her place is a little gem. Cleaning is spotless, baby chair was definitely needed for our little one. Definitely recommend this place. Car park is convenient being next to you. I would recommend a drive to cromer about 45 minutes to enjoy day out on the beach but most of all grab a pizza from cromer pizza and kebab, bottle of wine from Morrisons petrol station near it and drive to free car park by the coast on the cliffs, enjoy your food and drink whilst watching the sunset. Fabulous over night stay here , the caravan was spacious and comfy and we didn’t need for anything . Excellent location to the beach xx Definitely will stay again :)

A great, homely, caravan with all the facilities we needed. A nice quiet site which is a bit older fashioned and quirky. Beautiful views of the sea and Trimingham beach from the site. Partial sea view from the caravan. Everything was clean and well kept. Nice little pool, clubhouse/bar and cafe on site. Easy access via key safe. Host very communicative and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely lovely place to stay beautifully kept Rebecca was an attentive and helpful host. The location was perfect very close to the city centre and the sea but also peaceful at the same time. Would definitely stay again.

Great apartment centrally located for all that Great Yarmouth seafront has to offer. We loved being able to park outside and leave the car for our entire stay as everything was walkable. Clean, spacious and well presented. Ideal for short stays with all the basics included. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ruggle's Retreat was perfect for our stay. The cottage was attractively furnished and spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was well equipped for when we chose to self cater. It was in an excellent position just 2 o3 minutes from the town centre with its pubs, shops and attractions such as the Little Theatre and very interesting museum. A public carpark was very close and had free parking from 6pm to 8am. There were plenty of places to visit in the local area such as Cley Nature Reserve and Blickling Hall and I would thoroughly recommend Ruggle's Retreat as a base for a short break for a couple. Couldn’t be happier with our stay! In the perfect spot with it being very peaceful and quiet, there’s nothing between you and the sea! Also very close to everything near by. Both were fab hosts with great communication. Would recommend and will visit again.

We had a fanastic stay at Jayne's; the location couldn't have been better, near to the beachfront, cafes, shops and green spaces. Beautiful cottage just as described; fully equipped kitchen, lots of lovely towels, and some very thoughtful touches 🙂 thank you for a lovely two night stay! We would come back again!
