We had a wonderful relaxing stay in the yome - loved looking at the stars at night and meeting the animals in the morning! Breakfast was incredible, thanks for opening your farm to us!

The yurt is the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed at! It is such a unique experience to stay there. We slept so well in the quiet and peaceful environment in the forest. We also enjoyed the walking trails and seeing all the animals on David and Trish’s farm. They are truly great hosts in a wonderful location!

We had a truly amazing stay at the Scarlet Yurt! Milena was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host—she greeted us upon arrival and had already explained every detail beforehand so clearly that it felt like we had already been there before. Everything mentioned on their Airbnb page was exactly as described, if not better. The place was well-prepared, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in the heart of nature, I 100% recommend this location. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and recharge.

we had a great stay in yome #1! both the yome and the bathroom was very clean. host was very responsive and answered all our questions. breakfast was delicious. thank you so much !

This was one of the best experiences we have had. Nicholas is a warm, genuine and welcoming host. He has lots of interesting stories to share. The place feels like in the middle of nowhere, such calm surroundings with so much to explore around. We went for a hike in the property and went out to Town of Meaford (Station 87) for dinner, as suggested by Nicholas and it was all together an exemplary experience. The only downside was that it wasn’t long enough 😅 It’s strictly for a couple and it’s a visit worth it to unwind and connect with each other and nature. We had the best time 🙌

Had a wonderful and rejuvenating weekend away from the city in mid May. Having relocated from Northern Ontario to Toronto I need a regular escape to nature and this fit the bill nicely with its privacy and the peaceful setting of cedar trees next to the charming shallow river. Water was a bit chilly in the spring but I enjoyed a daily dip in the river (although wear water shoes in case of fish hooks as apparently it’s a fly fishing spot). Saw a belted kingfisher catching fish, a great blue heron, a deer and the usual suspects, all by the river. Lovely outside fireplace with supplied firewood, good for cooking over if you’re so inclined. Jill was lovely with good communication, flexibility and recommendations. No shortage of things to do nearby as well. And the yurt itself was very cool, quite spacious and easy to get to a comfortable temp if it’s chilly out. Highly recommended if, like me, you need some solace from the urban sprawl of Southern Ontario.

I had a beautiful stay at the yurt and the best sleep I’ve had in ages! The space was quiet, cozy and had everything I needed. The surrounding woods were gorgeous and a delight to explore. (My dog loved it too!) This is a very special place, imbued with peace and creative energy. Thank you for being such generous and welcoming hosts!

The past weekend was everything we had hoped for. All expectations were met and I was really impressed. It’s scenic and quiet and just a lovely property all around. If you want to take a step away from the sights and sounds and the hustle and bustle of modern life and slow down and actually get to go relax for a hitch then I highly recommend this place. Stayed 1 night with my dog, 10/10! We loved being greeted by the chickens, the views, and of course the beautiful yurt. Holy amenities—I had everything I needed to make a nice dinner! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!
