Had a great family getaway for a few nights. Peaceful surroundings, easy to find, and close to amenities if needed. Lovely cabin!

Tons of space on 3 levels and outside. Everything was clean, she put out snacks, beds were so comfortable. Amazing location right on the water with a fire pit, hot tub and sauna there! Minutes from the Henley Island and downtown area, 5-15 min away from all stores and St Catherine’s. The few problems with the water in the showers were taken care of immediately and all communication was very fast!!! I highly recommend staying at Grace’s place!

We had a great time at the River House! Neighbourhood was beautiful and quiet. The property was gorgeous! Home was clean and tidy, everything was labelled and easy to find. Space was perfect for 5 guests. Beds were cozy and comfortable, we loved sitting outside and enjoying the view and the amenities.

We had a great stay at Amigo! The house was spotless upon arrival, the hot tub was on and functioning and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need, including a Nespresso machine. The provided firewood was a nice touch as our campfire made for a memorable evening! There was ample space for 12 adults with clean bedding and towels provided. Would highly recommend to any large group looking for a weekend getaway on the lake.

We had an amazing stay at Penny’s beautiful home! The house is warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to feel comfortable and relaxed. The kitchen was very well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, which made preparing our own meals simple and convenient. Penny is a truly exceptional host—responsive, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience! This was one of the best hosting experiences we’ve had, and we would gladly return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone considering a stay!

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. We had a great weekend spent at the cottage! Beautiful location on the lake that allows you to getaway from the crowds while still being close to Niagara Falls. The hosts were very responsive and the home was comfy and had everything needed for a weekend away. Definitely recommend staying here if in the area.

It was a separate accommodation from the main house, and simple - the mini arcade was a fun extra.

We happened to come during mayfly season, so there were tons of them outside and we couldn’t have a campfire at night, which was a bit disappointing. But the host was super kind and helpful, and the place had everything we needed. During the day, we still got to go boating and had a nice BBQ, and spent three amazing nights indoors. the place was beautiful you felt like you were at a cottage even tho it was a residential area. everything inside was labeled so you knew were everything was and the host was helpful and responded fast if there was any questions!

Our time at Lazy Bear Lakehouse on Buckhorn Lake was truly unforgettable. Tucked away in a serene and scenic spot, the cottage offered the perfect mix of comfort, beauty, and tranquility. The cottage was spotless, well-organized, and beautifully maintained. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, allowing us to settle in and enjoy from the moment we arrived. The view overlooking the lake was absolutely stunning—constantly shifting throughout the day with the changing light. The sunset was especially breathtaking, painting the sky and water in the most vibrant and calming hues. Although the hosts, Michelle and Ryan, were not on-site, they were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Their thoughtful touches and clear communication made everything seamless and stress-free. Buckhorn Lake is one of the most peaceful places we’ve ever visited. Whether it was morning coffee on the deck or quiet afternoons enjoying the stillness of the water. We love it!

The Airbnb was peaceful and clean and we felt right at home. Robin was very prompt with her responses and friendly. If the weather held out I am sure we would have enjoyed utilizing the beautiful deck and lake more, but we enjoyed our time in doors sorting through and guessing the jellybean flavors she leaves for the guests. Unfortunately, the description and the explanation of the house was confusing, especially when it came to the sleeping accommodations. But overall it was an extremely pleasant experience and I would go back to visit again.

The cottage is an absolutely paradise! Fere and her wonderful family were consummate hosts - very accommodating and communicative, with great local recommendations. The cabin itself is idyllic and the perfect place for a weekend getaway; we couldn’t believe it was just an hour from the city — we really felt like we got the chance to unplug. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, with great walking trails and gardens! The cottage is comfortable and spacious, with all the necessities for a comfortable and relaxing stay. This place was even more beautiful than the pictures. Three levels of seating to enjoy the lake views. The beds were so comfortable unlike many places. The restaurant Garden Houzz just down the street is a close walk and a hidden gem! We had a rainy cold stay but we enjoyed an amazing time because of the views and amenities.

My girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The place was exactly as pictured and had lots of charm and personal touches that were very appreciated, including a complimentary bottle of wine, snacks and a lovely personalized welcome sign. The hosts were friendly, responsive and readily available if anything was needed, which it wasn't! We would definitely come back again when visiting the area!

We stayed here for a little over a week and it was amazing! The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, even helped us find an easier way to get into the city. The house was extremely clean and very cozy. This house is the perfect place for relaxing, enjoying nature, and even going into the city for some more up-beat days.
