I had a great experience at Josiah’s place! The Airbnb felt really cozy, Josiah was very proactive and gave great instructions about the place. I would definitely stay again!

We were two families from NYC that spend three nights at this place. The house was more than spacious for the 8 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the four person hot tub, the firepit and badminton set. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking and the beds were super comfortable. John was just a text away for any questions.

Great place to stay in the woods, easy to find, and a very welcoming environment. I recommend it highly to anyone interested in the area.

We returned again because we just love the location, ease, and amenities of staying there! Located close to so many sweet towns but tucked up and away on the stream, it’s the perfect upstate retreat. Meng and Andrew have truly thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable and seamless as possible. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!

Great location. Very relaxing and peaceful. The house is adorable. The owner was very helpful and gave recommendations of local things to do. My fiancé and I stayed for two nights. We went to two of the restaurants that were recommended and we also went on a hike, we hiked 5 miles and it was a great day. The hot tub was super relaxing and we even made a fire at the fire pit. We can’t wait to go back.

Was exactly the weekend getaway we needed. The tub was perfect for the cold nights, and we were just close enough to do a few hikes. The cabin was exceptionally clean and James was very attentive to anything that we needed. It is definitely in a neighborhood, and there are many families that live by but because of the greenery and the way that the house is laid out it feels very private. We would recommend this to friends and family! Thank you, James!

This was such a cozy and comfortable stay. It’s in a really convenient location to stores and restaurants, but provides all the privacy you’d want in a mountain cabin getaway. The place was clean and organized, I liked the touch of having labeled/organized kitchen tools. The hosts are very helpful and everything moved without a hitch.

Stayed Memorial Day weekend and loved the property. The pictures don't do the gentle sound of the stream and forest behind the property any justice. Andrew was very responsive and helpful whenever needed. Great area for relaxing!

It is a very nice place just minutes away from a number of attractions. Colleen was very responsive and had clear instructions for check-in and check out. We will definitely recommend this place! The property had beautiful 3 acres and we would have loved to see some rough walkway/trail to explore all of it.

Really charming cottage in the woods, and great, responsive hosts. Really had a nice time in this wooded and rural area, with two lakes nearby and the canoes on white lake. The cottage was clean and had a sleek, minimalist, scandanavian style (I felt like I was back in Sweden from years ago), which we appreciated! very peaceful at night and the AC worked great which helped out greatly on the hot days we were there. It's close enough to Woodstock museum/grounds, good food and laid back entertainment options in neighboring towns. Overall, a great stay, thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin! It was the perfect home base for exploring the local climbing areas. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed after long days outside. We appreciated the quiet surroundings and thoughtful touches. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area for climbing or other outdoor adventures. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great 1 night stay after a lovely hike at Stairway To Heaven. Hosts were super responsive and sweet. The cottage was so cute and tucked away from the other neighboring houses.

Phoenix Landing is close in proximity to access Route 17B, but is serenely situated in a quiet lakeside community. GPS was a little tricky in the neighborhood, but the listing was relatively easy to locate if you keep an eye out for the street name. It is well stocked, clean and very comfortable. This was an ideal accommodation to attend a show at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. I wish that I booked a longer stay…next time!

This was exactly the break that my family needed for a couple of days. I loved having no TV and lots of opportunities to hike to see waterfalls and fresh air! The kitchen was well set up for meals at home. It was chilly and rained most of the time, but we played cards and talked - so great! We were able to have an outdoor fire the last night and it was perfect! My only recommendation (and this has nothing to do with the cute house) for people coming to the area is to bring some printed maps as the area has very little cell phone coverage and we might have missed some of what we wanted to see as we simply couldn't find it. The falls we hiked (Hackers, Raymondskill, Dingmans and Silver Thread) were amazing! I would rent this place again!

Bob and MarieAnn's cabin is amazing. You feel right at home as soon as you walk in. Lots of small little touches that make you feel welcome instantly. The place is really nice and has everything you need. Plus having access to the lake with canoes, kayaks, etc. is amazing. The lake is gorgeous. I highly recommend and I will definitely go back. The only downside is if another guest is using the unit besides it, you can hear pretty much everything. The walls are pretty thin, so hopefully you get a respectful neighbour, and you are respectful yourself.

The family and I had a great stay an will most likely find our way back here in the future.

Streamside perfection for the holidays!!Vihn's Catskills Retreat could not have been more special, or more comfortable. A winter wonderland type of place to get away with our family for wine, cooking, games, puzzles, hikes, not to mention daily saunas overlooking Beaver Brook and the snow-covered forest. And we slept like rocks!! Highly recommend whether you want to hunker down or explore nearby towns like Narrowsburg and Callicoon. Can't wait to return for the summer version!!

The place was gorgeous- exactly like the pictures. We celebrated my birthday this weekend. Our stay was cozy surrounded by nature. A great place to disconnect. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at your cottage was wonderful - exactly as described with no issues. Unfortunately it rained during our entire stay but was very relaxing to hear the rain on the roof all night! We played a few of your vinyl's but couldn't figure out how to get the soundbar working (not connected to WiFi?). Everything was very clean and could not believe all the matching aqua appliances - right down to the hair dryer! I would say our only concern was the cottage was closer than expected to a busy road so would have been nice to be situated back further. Extremely fast responsiveness from both Justin and Margaret.

I needed a getaway after a long stretch at work and was looking for something remote and peaceful—Grayson’s place was absolutely perfect. It gave me everything I needed for a truly restful and recharging stay. He’s clearly put a lot of thought into every detail of the space, and it shows. This is our second time coming to the Cozy Cottage on the lake. Our stay was even more memorable than the first time and we loved all the new upgrades that were done with the house, making it even more special and easy to relax and take in the stunning home. Emmett and his family were again incredibly helpful and thoughtful—quick responses, clear instructions, and little touches that made the stay feel special. They even remembered we were coming for my dad’s birthday and made it even more memorable for him ;) The place was spotless, comfortable, and in a great location. The family takes pride in their home and it shows. Highly recommend!
