Nestled between WV's highest peaks & within minutes of our country’s best fishing, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, biking, skiing, hunting, Civil War Sites, & historic trains, River House is a perfect base for all WV has to offer.

Lit'l Country Comfort

Come and enjoy a relaxing, comfortable and peaceful stay at a fully furnished and renovated mobile home. This country home has a fully stocked kitchen, full bath, washer, dryer, and desk for a study area. Two (2) bedrooms: 1 queen; and bunk bed with full on bottom and twin on top. A fire pit to make S'mores! Coffee, tea, creamer, hot chocolate, snacks, toiletries, washing powders & paper towels, are provided for initial stay. Brent's Cabin

Enjoy our cozy and comfortable cabin situated on 20 private wooded acres near several trout streams, George Washington National Forest, Virginia Game Commission, hiking trails, and caves. Brent's Cabin sleeps four, including a double bed and two twin beds in the loft. For skiing we are 1 hour and 30 minutes from snowshoe and 30 minutes from The Homestead. For fishing we are 5 minutes away from the Bullpasture, 10 minutes from the Cowpasture, and 25 minutes from the Jackson River.

Located in the pristine Mill Gap Valley. At night you can reach out and touch the stars. National Forrest is close by too. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that can only be offered in Highland county. The farm along with our Maple Syrup is certified Organic. From our apple trees to our hay and pastures. We are Organic! If you would like a tour of our farm or maple operation, let us know! By September 2020, there will be a new outdoor living area with a hot tub and dining.

Located 19 miles from Snowshoe resort, 5 miles from the Green Bank Observatory, and 11 miles from Cass Scenic Railroad. There is so much to enjoy from hiking and biking the Greenbrier River trail, canoeing or kayaking one of the nearby rivers or skiing at Snowshoe. This rustic, countryside getaway has good views of the surrounding WV mountains with easy access to the quiet country road. It was constructed from timber grown, harvested and milled on the farm's antique sawmill. Wildlife is frequently sighted- from different species of birds to deer, squirrels and chipmunks. The road, though paved, is lightly traveled and great for walking, running and biking. Get lost from the distractions of technology; this cabin has noTV.

Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
