We are situated in the middle so you can go either way without a lot of driving. This is an easy stop-over if you are traveling 81 and just need a sweet place to rest in your journey. Mendin' Fences is a working farm. During the summer months, we host horsemanship clinics. For more: you can find us on the web by the name of our farm. We are a great destination for a quiet getaway, a horse stopover, or even a family reunion if renting the additional bunkhouse. In each direction, you can find many activities to enjoy: Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge; wineries; historical sites (Rogersville & Jonesborough in particular). Two airports are 50 min & 1.25 hrs away.
