Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

My partner and I stayed at Jessica's listing for our annual trip to NYC and absolutely loved the place! We love Bed-Stuy and almost always choose to stay in this neighborhood. Jessica left great recommendations for food and shopping in the area, had a cute little radio playing a local jazz station when we arrived, and made the apartment feel like a home away from home.

This is a comfortable, well-equipped 2-bedroom apartment. It’s not far from the Grand Army Plaza subway stop, which makes it quite easy to get into Manhattan as well as around Brooklyn. Lovely street and neighborhood. The frontroom has one double-bed so it might not be the right layout for a group or family, say, but it worked for me. And there is a private bedroom with a double-bed as well. The small bathroom also might not work for a group of 3 or 4, but was fine for me. I appreciated the responsiveness of Asha’s manager. Everything was done with care.

This Airbnb was wonderful! The space was clean and cozy. The place being on the ground floor made it accessible for my grandparents and their walker/wheelchair even fit through all the doors. Mel is an excellent host and sent helpful texts & a video to help us check in. I really appreciated the spot as a place for my out of town family to stay during my wedding. They loved it! What a GREAT find! The apartment is walking distance from the subway (Wilson Av) - as in you can't get through a whole song before you are there! - in a quiet neighborhood in the middle of Brooklyn. After reading some of the other reviews - I would like to comment on a few things too. I have lived in Brooklyn so perhaps my standards are different - but those that are tourists - this is for you. This apartment is spacious. This isn't a word used often in NYC. HUGE open space made it feel like a real apartment, big separate bedroom, large shower, a bigger kitchen than I had in my own apartment... HUGE. I didn't even use most of the space and I was there over a long weekend. I found the apartment to be SILENT (couldn't really hear the family upstairs that much, and zero from the outside, the lock of closets made up for the luggage storage, dresser, side tables, and space. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Excellent home in a fabulous neighborhood! Sara was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our stay. There wasn't any air-conditioning to ease the heat of the really hot days, but the location and cleanliness of the unit was worth the steamy moments. Also - it is very easy to find parking on this street! What an unexpected surprise!

I absolutely loved my stay at Tia’s airbnb. The apartment was clean, tidy, well-stocked with essentials (and more), and located in the cutest UES neighborhood. The amenities in her apartment are not typical for other new york apartments, including a large kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, AC, etc. There are very accessible subway stops and bus stop nearby as well, with tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The location felt very safe during my entire stay. It quickly felt like home to me. Tia is also such a lovely host, even letting me check in hours in advance because my flight got in early. Can’t say enough good things about her and her apartment. Will definitely rebook the next time I’m in New York!

Erica was a great host! She made sure everything was clean and ready by the time we arrived. She routinely answered our questions and was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed meeting her dog, Luna! Erica made this visit to NYC very enjoyable!!!!!

Great place to stay—clean and quiet. Convenient distance from the train and in a really nice part of town. Paul was extremely open and communicative, offering suggestions about transportation and parking. Overall, it was a great stay!

Our stay at this charming Airbnb exceeded all expectations. The place was immaculate, thoughtfully appointed, cheerfully styled, and very cozy. It was better than the pictures. India was so kind and gracious, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure a seamless visit. The place is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Definitely recommend.

Even nicer than the pictures! We loved the high ceilings and sense of space in the flat. Everything was exceptionally clean, which we appreciated. Adam was very responsive, and helpful. Everything was just perfect. Definitely grab a bagel at The Bagel Pub down the street while you’re there!

Thank you Sigfus for the hospitality! The location was incredible and this was a nice crash pad for an NYC weekend. Appreciated the good communitcation. The street is loud but it is what it is and Sigfus provided ear protection. Thank you!

Trey and Tammie's place was very nice! Located in the neighborhood of Bed-Stuy, it has easy access to public transportation and other amenities. Both were very communicative and ensured that there were detailed instructions on getting into the place and the room you reserved. Attentive hosts and a nice place in Brooklyn!

Donovon’s apartment was simply smashing. We discovered there are plenty of beautiful and unique places to visit in Brooklyn. Still lots left to visit next time. About ten minute walk to the closest subway. Thank you, Donovon, for all you do.

Comfortable and quiet place for a quick Brooklyn getaway.

This place is a gem. It is very well stocked with everything you could want. The location was great. 20 min walk to Times Square and easy access to subway. Bed very comfy. Sol was very responsive. Will def book again.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this amazing location. Walked to eat and see friends and many coffee shops. Also felt comfortable hanging out in the apartment. Comfortable space and beds. Overall a very good experience.

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the path in 5 min to connect to the NYC subways. On the walk, you pass multiple cafes and coffee shops. Great craft beer and wine shop on the corner. Pizza shop, Basile’s, right next to the PATH is perfect for a late night snack. The beds were comfortable, and even though there was some street noise heard at night, a sound machine was provided to help lull you to sleep. The only thing you have to be aware of is the unit is located on the 2nd floor, and you have to go up a narrow set of stairs which can be hard with multiple suitcases. Other than that, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with everything within walking distance!

Had a lovely stay at Sasha’s place. Sasha is super responsive and very helpful. 10/10 would recommend. The apartment is conveniently located next to the subway station which takes you right into Manhattan in a relatively short amount of time (15/20 mins). The apartment was super clean and had everything you could possibly need to make yourself at home away from home. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Sasha.

The view of the NYC skyline was exactly as promised in the pictures. Host was super responsive. The place was within walking distance to bus and ferry to NYC.
