I was in NY for Tech Week. This was a great value. It only takes 20 minutes on the L train to get to Manhattan. If I needed to go back to Barbara's to change clothes or nap, it's easy to go back and forth. The bedroom is huge. There's a lovely living room area for chilling. Barbara is so kind and understanding. Her recommendations were great. I got hooked on Father Knows Best, but one afternoon I walked in the other direction and discovered Irving's Place. Across the street from that restaurant was a nice park. I left on an early morning flight and only took my Uber 10 minutes to get to JFK. Unbelievable!

I absolutely loved my stay! Check in was straightforward and easy and the host was very responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe with easy access to public transit so I had no problem getting everywhere I needed to go. I would love to stay here again!

I stayed in the small room and only went there to get a good night sleep. The two other rooms were rented out as well but I barely saw the others and we didn't have the same bathroom times - which was convenient. I enjoyed my stay in NYC and the little room at Tash's place was all I needed for my nights at the apartment.

Staying at Juanita’s beautiful home in Park Slope was a dream! She was so friendly and kind. The room is privately situated on the 3rd floor with its own bathroom, but I really loved my interactions with Juanita coming in and out. She was super communicative and there were lots of considerate details in her space. She made me feel very welcome. The room was comfortable, and so quiet with the mini-split AC. The location couldn’t have been better. These are the kind of stays that I love. Thanks so much!

Wayne was such an amazing host and the room was perfect! Looked just like the pictures- maybe even better. I stayed with a friend and the space was comfortable for us, even with the pullout bed out. It was quiet at night too. I had thought that our checkout time was at 2 instead of 11, and Wayne let us keep our bags in the air b&b until then. I had questions about the lock mechanism and he responded right away and included a video for further clarity. Super quick response and communication was great. Overall, I felt right at home and looked forward to being back after long days in the city. This location is deep in Brooklyn. If you don’t mind about a 45 min commute to the more touristy areas of nyc, I’d say this is DEFINITELY worth booking.
