The forest cabin in Tibirke

"Skovhytten" has remained almost unchanged since it was designed by the painter Aage Lund in 1922 and was built by local craftsmen from Tibirke. Lund used it as a studio for two decades and the house still houses several of his paintings and has Lund's original color scheme. Since then, it has been a summer house and workroom for Denmark's most famous classical composer in the 20th century and was owned by the family for more than 75 years.” The house is located in Tisvilde Lunde. Lean back and relax in this quiet and stylish home. Our lovely cottage is located in Rågeleje, a little over an hour's drive from Copenhagen. It is large and spacious with an associated cozy garden. The beach is a nice 10-minute walk through the woods. It is ideal for the big family, but also works for 2 families. Tisvilde and Heatherhill are beautiful areas close by if you need to get out of the house a bit. It's filled with great vacation home memories and we can't wait to share it with you.
