Holiday houses in Grigoria

We had an incredible time at Villa Kamelia. It is a beautiful, spacious house, decorated with many flowers and plants and it had everything we might have needed. Several lovely beaches are within half an hour's drive. Supermarkets, gas stations, and restaurants are in the next town over. The rooftop terrace has a panoramic view of the countryside and the sea. There are many tracks and hiking paths in the nearby mountains. Vagelio and Katerina made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us feel at home, including welcoming us personally and leaving some food and drinks for us in the fridge. We highly recommend staying here.

I am excited with this amazing hospitality! The host was kind! The house was clean and newly built. The location was excellent because I had the opportunity to visit Matalla and another amazing places such as Agia Galini, Komos, Faistos!!!!! I will be back soon!!!!

One of the best places we ever stayed in Crete so far! The location is magnificent. Total privacy and stunning view. The inside of the house might seem a bit small from the pictures, but it's not. It is just about the right size for a family. We travelled with our 3 children (6, 4 and 1 year old). Antonios and his wife welcomed us at the nearby tavern Imeros in the village of Lagolio and then showed the way to the house, very easy to find. They were very kind and always quickly responded to any messages. The house is located about 700 meters from the village of Lagolio with no neighbours. This does mean you do need a car. Closest super market is in Timbaki, about 5 km away. Tavern Imeros in Lagolio serves delicious authentic Greek food, we enjoyed it almost every day. We were able to take the food to the house, after we put the children to bed. Several beaches, archeological sites, walking paths, etc. in the neighbourhood (15 - 30 min. driving). We also enjoyed the pool at the house!

We stayed at this beautiful villa with our adult children and an older parent, and it exceeded our expectations. Perched high above Moires, it offers stunning views of the valley and distant mountains. The villa is exactly as shown, with a fantastic outdoor pool, lovely gardens, and an outdoor kitchen featuring a gas grill and wood-fired pizza oven. Inside, everything was clean and well-presented, complete with a wonderful welcome pack. All the rooms were just as advertised, with quality linens and towels. George, the owner, was incredibly attentive, communicating effectively and even cooking delicious Cretan meals for us on several evenings. He also shared great recommendations for local trips, restaurants, and beaches. I can’t recommend this villa enough—it’s perfect, and I can’t wait to return!

The place was spottless in a quiet village 20 min from great beaches. Kids loved the pool. The owner was attentive and responsive.

Everything was absolutely perfect! We had a wonderful time staying here! Niki and her family are very friendly and welcoming. The house is very comfortable, there is everything needed, and the view is stunning! Thank you for your warm welcome, we’ll happily come back if we come to Crete again! We recommend 100%

The house is incredible and looks even better in real life than in the pictures. It’s a beautiful ancient oil mill that was renovated and now serves as the perfect place to relax and enjoy peaceful and quiet times in the wild south of Crete. The views from the house are incredible - especially at night - and you are completely alone; there is no one in the vicinity that can see you, so you can enjoy the highest level of privacy there. The pool is kept in pristine condition and cleaned regularly. The house also has a bbq grill and other useful items in a small shed nearby. There’s a great traditional tavern close by (30 seconds by foot) with amazing Greek food and good wine at a fair price. The hosts are very friendly and always in touch to assist with any request. When the WiFi didn’t work as it should, the hosts organised for someone to come to the house and install a new router, so we had Wifi. A rental car is recommended. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

Eleni and her daughter greeted us at the house. We were welcomed with fruit and cheese, we even got to taste raki made in-house. The house is amazing, very authentic and neat and the two available gardens are out of this world, overlooking olive tree plantations and the sea. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from the terraces and spending time there in the evening. It was a very relaxing stay and special kudos for the cute dog and adorable cats 🥰 Thank you Eleni for this unique experience and we hope to come back soon!
