This newly renovated cozy cabin is located in the middle of the forest in the Småland highlands. The cottage is close to hiking trails and lakes and by car close to the unique wooden town Eksjö, the moose park in Skullaryd and skurugata. If you want to go on a day trip, it's an hour to Astrid Lindgren's world. All of the rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier cottage from the 18th century. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing is available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cabin.

The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house stands in and the insulation is shavings from the floors and walls. For us, it's organic and local important to take care of.

Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

This cabin you will find next to the petting lake in the middle of the Småland forests about 30 minutes outside Jönköping. You will find your own jetty with boat 100m through the forest from the cabin. 3 min walk you also have a beautiful public swimming area with summer cafe. About 4 km from the cottage there is a food store, pizzeria and train station.

The garden is a meadow and behind the house starts the forest. In the vicinity of the house there are two ponds and 700m away there is a lake. In the lake you can go down to swimming and fishing. We have a small boat that you can rent per day, SEK 75 You have neighbors but at an appropriate distance.

The natural garden of Uddebo is surrounded by lake Rosjön on three sides, giving direct access to the water, as well as a magnificient lake view from all parts of the house. From the living room and master bedroom you reach a wooden deck with stairs to the garden and a small jetty.

Our cosy guest house has its own entrance and is located in the same building as our garage on our spacious yard. By car it is 20 minutes away from the city Jönköping and the E4. Downstairs there is a small pentry, a kitchen table and toilet. Upstairs there is one double bed and two single beds. Note that bed sheets and towels are not included but can be rented for 100 SEK per person. Pillows and duvets are included.

This vacation home overlooking the lake was even more beautiful than we had promised from the photos. We enjoyed the days very much and the children (2-3 years old) had a lot of fun on the trampoline, on the small beach by the lake or with the toys that were available in the house. The house is equipped with everything you need and is very tastefully decorated. Everything was clean and we felt at home. The two SUPs that we were allowed to use were also a lot of fun for us adults. Within a radius of about 30-60 minutes by car you could make beautiful trips, such as to Bullerbü, Katthult or an elk safari. We would 100% recommend the place and would be happy to come back.

I had three boys aged 16-21 at the end of May. The place was like a dream. We arrived at night and the lake lay there, large, mighty and mysterious in the dark. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed four days to the fullest with SUP boards, boat, swimming, sauna, walks around the lake, bonfire and relaxation. It's really great to have it all to yourself. - The eldest son needed to have the annex / cottage to himself! We dream of coming back in the middle of winter and ice fishing🎣, winter swimming 🥶 and then sauna🥵!!

The stay at Mia's was very good! The accommodation is small but nice and has everything you need! :) The parking lot directly at the accommodation is very convenient and the boat, which can be used, is a great extra! The lake is a great way to relax. The surrounding area is very quiet. The nearest supermarket is about 15 minutes away by car. We were very satisfied and will be happy to come back! :) Thank you, Mia & Eric! :)
