Monthly Rentals in Grind Stone City

It was a great place to stay for the weekend with girlfriends! My friends and I wete astonished at how well thought out this place was! It was so cute on the beach. We felt like we were somewhere tropical! Location was great. The decorations were beautiful. I told my husband I would come back and bring the kids! Love it here.

We had a great Memorial Weekend stay at Acorn Cottage! Jason was extremely responsive and flexible with check-in which was much appreciated. The cottage itself was cozy, had nice outdoor hangout spots complete with a grill and a Blackstone. The kitchen was spacious, and the perfect focal point for our group of four. It’s easy to walk from the cottage to the town area where we enjoyed Pak’s Backyard and the Pirates Cove. Would definitely recommend booking the Acorn Cottage!

Such a cute condo for a long weekend getaway! Fantastic location with amazing views right on Lake Huron and walkable to downtown Port Austin. Very clean and exactly as described. Would definitely recommend and come back!

The "Home in Port Austin" is not far off the beaten path, exactly what I look for in a getaway. It offers quiet, clean accommodations looking out onto Lake Huron (NO road in-between the home and lake) and the balcony, overlooking the water, was a nice place to while away the day as I pleased. Local restaurants are within a few minutes drive, but the kitchen had all the equipment I needed. The picnic tables and fire pit near the water's edge offer an enticing invitation for dining al fresco. George and Kathy, the hosts, are kind and considerate. I knew they were near if I needed anything, but they also gave me the space I desired. This was a delight find - a good location for relaxing or going out to explore the area. I will definitely put the "Home in Port Austin" on my list of places to revisit.
