Farmstay holiday rentals in Groene Hart

If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. De Woude is so cute and quaint. THANK YOU for sharing your space, Leigh-Anne! 🫶🏼

This was a wonderful hidden gem in the city. I felt like I was all alone in a secret garden, even though you’re surrounded by houses and in the city. Nico and Elizabeth were awesome hosts. So kind and helpful. I loved taking the bike out and around the city and to the beach. I had a wonderful 2 days and will be back for sure! Thank you both!

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

Sehr freundlicher Kontakt. Es gab sogar Kuchen zur Begrüßung. Die Unterkunft war schön ruhig gelegen, top ausgestattet und sauber. Eine Straßenbahn war auch in der Nähe. Ich kann die Unterkunft wirklich sehr empfehlen und wir kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

Wow! What an amazing week at 't Vaerkenskot! A beautifully renovated and restored pig barn! You can see it was a labour of love for Lukkie and Lambertus. What an amazing job they have done. The property was set in the gorgeous Zeeland countryside in a small peaceful Hamlet called Dreischor. They welcomed us with open arms and we immediately felt at home. Our dog Betsy normally takes time to adjust, but she felt at home instantly, which is a good sign! We felt we had enough privacy, but with the option to bump into our lovely neighbours we would say hello and chat when we wanted. Lambertus and Lukkie gave us great recommendations in the area. The property had all the amenities and was well kept, clean and with the most beautiful gardens! Although it rained (a lot!) during our stay, we kept warm and happy reading and enjoying the peaceful rest. There’s lots of things in area. Beaches and walks, beautiful cafes. We would stay again!! We loved this spacious, homely and immaculate cottage, in a beautiful, peaceful setting, and only 15 minutes from the lovely city of Gouda. And Krista is a friendly, helpful and responsive host.

We had a really nice stay at Nicolette's place. Perfectly situated to visit the "Groene Hart" of the Netherlands or go to Gouda, Utrecht… by bike. The house is on the beautiful river Vecht and is in a very quiet environment. Nicolette is also a very friendly and flexible host

Fantastic place! Comfortable, well-decorated, quiet, peaceful. Perfect place for the family, to enjoy nature and have a rest. Host is very kind, helpful and communicative, adapted the place for our visit and needs. Definitively a place to repeat!

Afgelopen weekend verbleven wij op Hoeve Nooitgedacht en wat hebben we het heerlijk gehad! Het is echt een paradijsje aan de rand van het prachtige natuurgebied de Veluwezoom. Alles was op en top geregeld en het is overduidelijk dat Albertine alle liefde en aandacht heeft voor haar gasten. We hadden als extra ontbijt erbij besteld (een aanrader!) dit was enorm uitgebreid en met heerlijke producten, er stonden twee elektrische fietsen voor ons klaar, het huisje stond er op en top bij, en bij aankomst kregen we een uitgebreide uitleg met hele leuke tips. Heel fijn plekje met lieve diertjes en een top gastvrouw! We komen zeker graag nog een keertje terug!

We had a really great time at this place! The location was very peaceful and calm. The house had all amenities we needed. The yard was lovely to sit and relax and our dog enjoyed there as well especially with the goats, chickens and the owner's dog! It was a first time caravan experience and it is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation! Esther, Michel and their kids were extremely friendly, responsive and gave us lots of local recommendations. We felt right at home :) Would visit again!

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

Cute and cozy spot with beautiful surroundings and accommodating hosts, conveniently close to the city without all the hustle & bustle. We especially loved renting a boat nearby at Bootverhuur Overleek and exploring the surrounding villages along picturesque canals. A lovely spot to stay.

Abbiamo trascorso 5 giorni davvero fantastici da Irma, il posto è incantevole e immerso nella natura. La posizione è strategica per raggiungere molte destinazioni da visitare. Irma ci ha sempre dato ottimi consigli per le attività da fare! Nostra figlia chiede già di tornare!

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und persönlich. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Eine tolle Terrasse mit Blick in einen traumhaften Garten runden die Wohlfühlatmosphäre ab. Die Terrasse ist komplett eingezäunt, was einen Aufenthalt mit Hund total entspannt macht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

It was an overall very pleasant stay which i enjoyed a lot. Wilma and her family are warm-hearted and absolutely welcoming. The apartment is very nice and exactly as described.

Fantastic house. Well equipped and everything you need in the kitchen. House was quiet and private with a great feel to it. Would strongly recommend. Illonka greeted us and made sure we were comfortable. We couldn’t asked for more

We stayed a few nights with our 2 small kids, mainly to visit Amsterdam, and had a wonderful time. The house was great for us, very clean, enough space for everyone, very nice neighbourhood and restaurants and shops were close by bike or walking. We took the car to the nearest train station (Bussum Zuid) with free parking but without kids and less rain, walking would also have been easily possible. Jaap was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We would happily come again!

Die Wohnung in Noordwijk war perfekt für unseren Aufenthalt! Sie ist sehr sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Lage ist super, die Innenstadt und der Strand sind gut mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen, und Fahrräder stehen sogar direkt zur Verfügung. Die Gastgeber war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft für einen entspannten Urlaub an der niederländischen Küste – wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a really enjoyable time staying in Annemarie and Dirk’s cottage. It was well positioned for our day excursions and having bikes available to use was a highlight. On Annemarie’s advice we caught the ferry to dinner and biked home along canals - magic! Great hosts who helped us wirh our questions. Highly recommend staying here.

Het verblijf van Karin was super. Alles was netjes schoon en zoals omschreven in de advertentie. Het strand ligt op 30 minuten wandelen. Eerst door het bos en dan door de prachtige duinen. Winkels zijn makkelijk te bereiken. Kortom we hebben genoten en ik zal de accommodatie van Karin zeker aanraden.

Lovely accommodation for sunny days. We had a great time, even though we were unlucky with the weather. Great view and very quiet, great place to relax and get away. Highly recommend. ☺️

We had a very lovely stay in Jisp with Esther and Marc. Spacious accommodation in such a peaceful location. Our hosts were fantastic, so accommodating and helpful. We made the best of the weather with several days of cycling and relaxing. Public transport is excellent as to be expected. We would love to come back and explore more of North Holland.
