We had a wonderful time at the chalet! The accommodation is very nice, lovingly furnished and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The surroundings invite you to relax – perfect for escaping everyday life. The contact with the hosts was super friendly and straightforward. We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend the chalet!

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

A great and clean house in a quiet neighborhood. With 8 people, we got along with the rooms and bathroom spaces. Pool was in our satisfaction!

We had a fantastic time at this lovely apartment. The sea view balcony is fantastic. The apartment is spacious and equipped with every comfort. 2 beautiful spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice loft. Beach right in front of the door and several restaurants and beach bars nearby. We also found surprisingly nice. Cruise through the sea lock is recommended.

The lake house is beautifully situated in the park . The amenities leave nothing to be desired . It was so clean and welcoming that we immediately felt comfortable. We will come back to this house very much.

We chose the place because it's close to the sea and the city. Both places are easily accessible even for us who were only equipped with e-bikes. The supermarket and restaurants can also be reached on foot. The place is very nice. Large house and nice outdoor space to relax. The kitchen is super stocked with everything you need. Cats are a nice add-on: they're companionship and don't bother at all.

Everything was perfect! Coffee & tea supplied. Lovely apartment, lent us bikes foc. We used the pick up service from Amsterdam Centraal Station which was friendly, convenient & punctual. It was also good value for money. Best AirBnB so far! Thank you Bart, Elias & Renee.

The house has all the comforts. Anything you need is present in ample quantity. The gas fireplace completes it all. The garden is nicely landscaped with various corners and spacious seating options. Hosts Debbie and Frits ensure a hassle-free check-in and check-out. Great stay!

We had a wonderful weekend with our family in this beautiful and very cozy farm. The owners have clearly put a lot of work and love into the renovation. They were also very friendly and helpful in the contact and, together with the roaming chickens, provided a very welcome feeling. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Michael’s place. We booked it for a girls trip with a group of 7. It was the perfect size, lovely surroundings and really central! Would definitely recommend!

The cottage has a great starting point for excursions, whether to the beach in Bergen, Egmond or Pretten, as well as to be in Amsterdam in less than an hour. On the second day, we felt slowed down and relaxed by the quiet environment :) Our dog was also totally relaxed in the garden to sunbathe and our child was happy with the toys on site. The accommodation offers everything for daily needs and was completely sufficient for us - we felt right at home and would have liked to stay longer. You arrive and the beds are already made and the towels are arranged. All included. We will be happy to come back!

There is nothing to add to the comments, the house has its peculiar charme. What is'nt mentioned clealy in the description: you have to bring your own towels. Two bicycles can be rented. The parking place behind the house is public but mostly available. For coffee lovers: machine is available with capsule system 'Dolce Gusto'. Albert put a lot of effort into the house, which you could see. He was very nice and accommodating, always responded quickly if there was something and everything you need was there!

What a wonderful stay! This has been one of the best AirBnBs we’ve ever visited. The house is beautifully decorated with a real attention to detail, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s perfectly located — close to the center, yet quiet and peaceful. We spent a fantastic week cycling through the countryside and exploring the charming surroundings. Coming back to this cozy and stylish village each day was a true pleasure. Thank you for everything — we’ll definitely be back

This bungalow is in a beautiful environment. It is tastefully decorated and the appliances, cutlery and utensils are at their best! Communication with Jurgen was very fluid as well. Great place to stay to visit Keukenhof and Amsterdam as well as the northern beaches. Kids loved the garden!

A very nice little cottage, with a small garden. Very cozy and beautifully decorated with a very nice kitchen. The house is on a campsite and it was very quiet. Up to the beaches and larger towns about 20 - 30 min by car.

The house is very spacious, clean and has a great outdoor space. The bathroom is a stand out with a large shower and double sink. You can walk to the shops, restaurants and sightseeing in the city centre. Would certainly return to this gem in Alkmaar.
