Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Charming apartment in Bellagio, just a step from the centre. From the principal balcony you have a stunning view of the lake and of the famous Villa Serbelloni. The apartment is on two floors: on the first one there is the living room, a bathroom, the kitchen and also a chimney; on the second one there is a bathroom and a big bedroom with a double bed and two single ones. We had a great stay! The apartment is modern, clean and well equipped – with everything you need, including WiFi. The terrace overlooking the two lakes was particularly beautiful - ideal for relaxing at breakfast or dinner. The location is great: strategically perfect between Lake Como and Lake Lugano, the small Piano Lake is at your feet. The pool was also a highlight! The host was very friendly and helpful. We would come back anytime!

Alessio communicated very well with us, kept us informed all the way through. It was hard finding the place at first but he kept us well informed with helpful instructions. He gave us even recommendations for places nearby. It would have been nice to have a washer and iron but overall would recommend the place. I would suggest removing the picture in listing that shows the washer as that might confuse many tourists that book the house when there is no actual washer in the property.

The house is charming and comfortable, ideally located. It is even better and more spacious than the pictures portray. The hosts were very helpful when my son got sick. And they let us know that the train would not be available after a certain date so we could plan our travel back to the airport accordingly. There is no a.c. But we had a fan for every bedroom. All of their recommendations are terrific, especially the closest restaurant, Locanda Cavallino. We ate there twice. And the view…unreal.

Apartment in Nesso has amazing views! It’s the main reason why we chose this place and we were not disappointed. Its astonishing! It’s also within a walking distance to Nesso fall. Restaurants and cafes are nearby. The pool was well maintained and comfortable. Kitchen was relatively well stocked, enough appliances to cook your own meals. We discovered some minor issues in the bathroom, but because there were two, we easily adjusted. Elevator had some issues, but got fixed. Just keep in mind that these kind of places are not newly built, so they do have some hiccups. All in all I give it a five ⭐️ and would come back again.

Amazing stay at Cinzia’s home. I wish I never had to leave. Her and her family were so helpful and kind. For us, the location was perfect - close to everything and just a short walk into town, but still felt secluded and private, surrounded by gorgeous scenery and nature all around. Cinzia was responsive to any of our questions and helped coordinate a massage for us by the water, and a multi-course dinner service at the home - everything was exceptional.
