The Old Painter‘s House, Ferienhaus am Wasser

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit großem Garten in direkter Wasserlage am Kanal mit traumhaften Blick in die ostfriesische Landschaft. Das Haus wurde umfassend saniert und renoviert. Wichtig war uns dabei, den ursprünglichen Charakter beizubehalten und diesen mit heutigem Wohnkomfort zu verbinden. Regionalität, Nachhaltigkeit und Individualität waren unser Kompass. Am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns in ruhiger Lage, nur einen Katzensprung zum Deich, zum Hafen und zur Fähre nach Ditzum.

In the midst of the beautiful meadows and the idyllic views, you can enjoy the pure tranquility in the small Tjücher Grashaus. It offers a green garden with views over land and fields, so you can comfortably enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace in complete tranquility. The cottage is completely gutted and renovated and renovated to the latest standard. A light-flooded living/dining area with kitchen, a bedroom, children's room and bathroom awaits you. Perfect for relaxation, nature & stylish evenings on the water. The swimming and fun pool can also be used free of charge.

This is a vacation home right on Lake Harkebrügger. It invites you to swim, relax, sail or stand up paddle. There is free Wi-Fi here. We have 3 free parking spaces right in front of the house. The light-flooded living area is furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. At the spacious dining table there is enough space for all guests and you can enjoy the view of the lake. A private lounge corner invites you to linger. Outdoor shower!

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.

Here you can simply switch off, relax in the fully equipped and cozy house, enjoy nature and sauna in the garden, stroll in the city center in ten minutes or simply drive to the sea (about 7 km to the beach). Shopping, bakery, train station and bus station are only 700 m or a 10-minute walk away. The accommodation is only rented out temporarily for a few weeks a year, as it is my own main apartment (private living space).

Quiet yet close to the center in the north. A wood-burning stove provides charming coziness on gray days. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate dogs in this property.
