The House of Prayer

Welcome to our guesthouse, where you can relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation. Located four kilometers from the authentic wooden town of Nora in the beautiful Bergslagen region, Bönehuset was built in 1901 and was originally a missionary house. Now a comfortable home featuring a large combined kitchen and living room where the church hall previously stood, plus two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. On a chilly day, the fireplace in the connecting room provides warmth. The garden area is available for socializing and play. There is a swimming area a few hundred meters away.

Quiet and secluded accommodation in guest house right by the lake Ullvättern. Access to a large jetty with lounge sofa and sunbeds. Rowing boat and wood fired sauna are included. Balcony with outdoor furniture. Sleeping loft with 140 cm double bed and sofa 140 cm with double bed. Staircase from the living room up to the sleeping loft. Kitchen with basic equipment, fridge/freezer, stove with oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. No dishwasher. Toilet with toilet, shower, sink and storage cabinet. The cottage is located on the same property as the host's house. Welcome!

Elofs Stall, new guest house in a historical building

An old stable renovated into a luxurious and cozy vacation home in a quiet little village close to the tourist destination of Nora. Spacious open-plan kitchen with the living room. In the kitchen there is a fireplace, kitchen island with bar stools, dining area with room for 6 people at the table. Double headroom gives a lovely airy feel. Exit to the patio with evening sun and undisturbed views of pastures. On the ground floor there is also a toilet with shower and laundry room. Upstairs, there are three separate bedrooms as well as a toilet. Everything in new condition!

The main building is newly built in 2021 with a new and fresh kitchen and bathroom. Wood-fired fireplace. Open, bright floor plan. Large windows and glass doors facing the lake. Newly built sauna (ready to use), but the exterior and gazebo are still under construction. Quiet area close to forest with nice trails, including Bergslagsleden. Golf course about 3 km away.

Welcome to Fjällbostugan, your private paradise on a secluded river plot with the forest as a neighbor. Enjoy the view of the river from the cabin, your own sauna/dock, take a dip or a boat or canoe trip in the peaceful Svartälven. Go paddleboarding, sunbathe, read a book and enjoy the view and tranquility. Proximity to nature reserves, berry and mushroom picking, fishing and swimming areas with sandy beach. Also close to the cozy town of Grythyttan with cobblestone streets, service, café, gelateria and high-class gastronomy.

Luxury glamping tent with Stove, Sauna and Hot tub

Escape the hustle and bustle in our cozy and spacious tent, in the middle of the green but still close to the inhabited world. Walk into the forest in no time. A large sandy beach is a 10-minute drive away, and a supermarket and restaurant are a 15-minute drive away. Price includes use of our sauna, fire pit and BBQ. The hot tub is available for a fee of 500 SEK. We also have bicycles and sups to borrow In our greenhouse we have a basic stove and fridge and table to eat. Breakfast or dinner is possible for an additional fee.

Unique lake front cabin on your own peninsula

Relax in this waterfront cabin on your own private peninsula in the beautiful Dalarna region. Enjoy the 200° water views and spend the days swimming or fishing from the private jetty with 2 kayaks available for use. Pick berries or mushrooms in the nearby forest or walk on beautiful trails. Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

Newly-equipped house with its own bay and rowboat

Lovely vacation home for those who like animals and nature! Here you can fish, swim, hike and cycle. In the nearby area, there are several nature reserves as well as hiking and biking trails. You have access to a simple rowing boat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own swimming cove or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets are not included. For an additional cost, they can be rented from the host.

"Livets Källa" - your own private island in Sweden

Slow down in this unique, soothing place to stay. This beautiful location is situated on Lake Norr-Älgen, just outside the town of Hällefors. A private island that is self-sufficient with a sauna. So is life on this island. Of course, it is already unique to be able to book a house on a private island. The house/island exudes simple Swedish life. The house is self-sufficient in electricity and (hot) water. Although that does not mean that it is available without limits. Wonderfully private

Welcome to Västergården – a detached wing in timber on our farm in Grecksåsar, in the middle of the beautiful Bergslagsnature. Here you live undisturbed with the forest around the corner, Dammsjön just 1 km away for swimming, and a large gathering room with wood-burning stove, wood-burning stove and Bergslag stove that creates a warm and lively atmosphere. The wing is perfect for couples, small families or those seeking a retreat with soul and nature.

A typical charming Swedish red cottage in lovely surroundings next to a lake (2 min walk) with your own bathing place with platform, access to boat and one canoe for up to 3/4 persons and free fishing (You can borrow simpel fishing equipment). Fully equipped main house with 3 bedrooms. Additionally 1 small house available with 4 beds. It is very quiet and peaceful here and you will see the sheep and horses graze near the house.
