Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. Sörängen is a charming old 19th century cottage with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Other rooms have been renovated but have preserved their old charm. Open fireplace and also wood stove. The house is located in connection to another property where there are sheep and chickens. Otherwise, the house is surrounded by forest and green areas. A smaller river to fish in is a couple of hundred meters. Swimming area within 5 km. Access to simpler outdoor gym, wood sauna, two nice bikes to borrow.

The guest area passes just outside the residence and just 3 km away flows beautiful Dalälven, another 2 km away is Sandsnäsbadet with nice sand beach. 13 km to Gysinge with its rapids and Färnebofjärden National Park.

It has all the amenities such as fully equipped kitchen, toilet with shower and washing machine as well as sleeping alcove with 1st Queen-Size double bed (160cm). Cozy cottage by Källsjö – sauna, boat & close to nature

Observera att boendet saknar starkström och dusch, men är beläget vid en källsjö med rent och friskt vatten som lämpar sig väl för tvätt och hygien. Stugan drivs enbart av 12-volts el för enklare belysning, vilket innebär begränsad elektrisk kapacitet. Det finns dock möjlighet att ladda mobiltelefoner via uttag. Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop 4 min walk. The house is timbered in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from the death of the wastehouse when it was moved here. The decor is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Ramhäll-an idyll in the countryside

Note that the longest time you can rent the apartment is 14 days. The accommodation is adapted to tourists and there is no washing machine. No laundry facilities nearby either. Newly renovated, fully equipped apartment, in an old house from 1873. 3,5 km to a little, nice beach. Good location for day trips to Stockholm, Uppsala, Gävle, the sea and ironworks villages. You can borrow a bike for free. This is the place for those who are looking for a relaxing environment in the country.

The cottage (‘härbre’ in Swedish) is one of several small outbuildings in a picturesque setting. The building is from the 19th century. The lower floor has been carefully renovated using traditional building preservation methods. There is a kitchenette with cold water, a fridge and a hob. The outdoor toilet is just a few steps away. The shower is in the main building. The forest is just around the corner with good opportunities for shorter or longer walks. Free parking.
