This home’s jungle greenhouse creates its own microclimate in the high mountain desert and is completely off-the-grid, exquisitely detailed and outfitted with modern amenities. The outer greenhouse features towering banana trees, grape vines, birds, turtles and even a fish pond. The inner living spaces are cozy and quiet. The Phoenix Earthship was featured in 2014 as one of Lonely Planet’s Top Ten Eco-Stays.

The Red Earth Palace Retreat

An architectural gem with private access to natural hot springs in the Rio Grande Gorge Park. A living and breathing piece of art on fifteen private acres nestled amongst junipers trees, pinon and sage brush, offering sweeping views of the surrounding valley. The cabin sets in a meadow looking at the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, A pond and lush green grass make this a special place. The cabin has all of the amenities including Wifi. It has running water, a bathroom and a full kitchen, but the special part is the beautiful setting. The entrance of the property borders the Rio de La Casa, a small river running with clear mountain runoff. You may see sheep grazing the meadows, the quiet solitude in this beautiful valley will bring peace to your soul.

Kick back and relax in this stylish cabin in the forest. Hilltop location with forever views. Just off scenic Route 66 (Hwy 50), up a steep (but short) driveway, sits a 2-bedroom log cabin with plenty of birdsong and pine trees, a porch surrounded by views and furnished with a grill for outdoor dining. Five miles east is the village of Pecos with the Pecos River for fishing, hiking, and exploring. Sixteen miles north is the legendary city of Santa Fe packed with world-class art and culture

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

This Earthship is great for experiencing a home that is quiet, serene, romantic, private, (one acre lot) surrounded by acres of sagebrush and chamisa. and is only 15 minutes from town. The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!

It is a wonderful experience to stay in our beautiful home in the mountains of Northern New Mexico surrounded by vast ranch lands. Viewing wildlife and observing nature is a favorite pastime for our guests and the wildlife is everywhere, from birds in the sky and in the water to many elk, deer and other mammals abound. The log home is modern and refined in its restoration although it is now 100 years old and is unique to our area in its style and comfort. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS.
