What a wonderful way to visit San Miguel de Allende! We felt completely welcome and comfortable in this restored casa with an open air courtyard, beautiful flowers and a stunning terrace view. The housekeeper, Patty, was very nice and made wonderful classic Mexican food for us. The location was perfect for walking to the square, overlooks, the park and everywhere in between. Many great experiences were had and this was the perfect home base. Do not hesitate to stay here - you will not regret it! A note to future renters, if your flight arrives late you will need to arrange how to get in ahead of time with the rental company. If your flight arrives later than 9 pm it would be good to stay near the airport and travel to SMA the next day and begin your stay at Casa Lacardo then. Another tip: SMA is a mostly a cash economy unless you are eating/ shopping at a more established restaurant.

Comfortable. Peaceful. Birds sing during the day while crickets & cicadas sing at night. The air is cool, light and fresh. It is just a pleasant 20-minute drive to the historic downtown of San Miguel de Allende. Internet connectivity worked well here: both the in-house wifi and via our phone reception. Antonio - the caretaker - occasionally checked in on us to offer assistance with anything we might need. Eleonora provided useful recommendations for places to visit and to eat at; she stayed on top of everything to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. It has been a pleasure & privilege to be Eleonora's guests. You would, too. Just go ahead and book this place. You will thank us later. Cheers!

Espacio más amplio de lo que se aprecia en las fotos, era un antiguo rancho con muchos espacios para explorar. La casa es muy amplia y cuanta con diversos espacios para cada actividad. Realmente es sencillo de llegar, pero las app lo complican un poco y el camino, aunque un poco descuidado (que no es culpa del anfitrión) es de facil acceso en auto. Todo funcional, la casa es muy térmica. Quiza un par de abanicos y más sillas para aprovechar todos los espacios (dentro y fuera) mejorarian la experiencia, pero en general muy bien, fuimos un grupo de 7 personas y mascotas y disfrutamos mucho la tranquilidad del lugar

Love the garden and the birds and butterflies. Sweet little store 2 blocks away, quiet street and coffee shop nearby. We walked to town every day and were so glad to return to our quiet oasis.

Nuestra estancia fue muy agradable. La casa es tal como aparece en las fotos: hermosa, cómoda y bien equipada para descansar. Grace fue una excelente anfitriona, siempre atenta y dispuesta a ayudar en todo momento. El desayuno incluido es un buen detalle y estaba rico, aunque como sugerencia, sería ideal agregar algunas opciones más, como crema para el café. Un par de cosas a considerar: el servicio de limpieza no está incluido durante la estancia, y notamos que faltaba shampoo en el baño de abajo. Aun así, la experiencia general fue muy buena y sin duda recomendaría este lugar

Host was very responsive & allowed us to leave our luggage before check in. The bed was very comfortable & there was ample filtered water. Great location- very walkable & nice decor. Host was very helpful with local tips!

Excelente lugar para descansar y relajarte con la familia, súper tranquila la zona, la casa muy amplia y los jardines y áreas exteriores muy grandes y relajantes, sin duda regresaremos, físicamente se ve mejor que en las fotos y todo el lugar en general te da una sensación de tranquilidad, Carlos siempre al pendiente y muy flexible con la llegada y salida.

Casa de Adobe es un lugar encantador, todos los espacios se sienten cómodos y amplios, con todos los servicios y amenidades que se pueden esperar y necesitar. La ubicación brinda seguridad y privacidad. A mi familia y amigos nos gustó mucho, por lo que estaremos buscando regresar pronto. Marta, nuestra anfitriona estuvo muy atenta a nuestra llegada, nos explicó detalladamente todo y nos brindo mucha información. Resolvió todas nuestras dudas e hizo todo lo posible porque nuestra estancia fuera placentera.

We had a wonderful stay! Do not hesitate, this place is fantastic. The location is a bit out of town, we loved the walk down but did take taxis home (very inexpensive and easy to find). We loved the pool and the tranquility but mostly we loved Theresa...she truly makes you feel at home and takes wonderful care of you. Her meals are delicious and she is a kind and sweet person with a great sense of humor. We have stayed in SMA many times and this place was a favorite, we hope to return. Paula took the time to help me plan our visit via phone before our arrival which was very helpful and kind. Thank you Paula and Theresa!!

Es una casa muy hermosa, mucho mejor de lo que ves en las fotos, nos sentimos muy Agusto porque buscábamos privacidad para pasarla bonito en familia y descansar... sin duda y, si no tienen inconveniente los anfitriones, nos gustaría regresar!!! la pasamos genial y todo fue muy agradable... hasta la gente del desarrollo fueron muy amables, nos guiaron para entrar y salir!!! excelente fin de semana con mi mamá y mis hermanas mamás!!! Magnificent hidden gem! This property is better than the photos, and allows you to live in a Spanish Colonial townhome/mansion. Truly a gorgeous oasis, and also an art collector's home, filled with beautiful things, and fully stocked for your comfort. The pool and courtyard fountain make you feel like you are in a private resort. The 4th floor roof top covered living/dining/bar/fireplace is perfect to watch the sunset with a cocktail or glass of wine with a stunning nighttime view of two church steeples. The property is so lush with potted plants and flowers that a gardener tends to it. I can't say enough good things about this property and excellent location. The best part is Rosalinda the cook, and Leticia the chambermaid. They are the sweetest and kindest souls; true caregivers. You can pick out recipes from the binders/cookbooks in the kitchen, give them money for groceries and they will cook 2 meals a day for you. We felt like royalty! Jod's dining recommendations were 5-Star!

Increíble host y muy hermoso lugar para quedarse una o varias noches.

La pasamos increíble, el lugar está precioso y muy tranquilo, todo limpio y ordenado, los niños amaron la piscina. Las atenciones de Rumas y María de 10!!! En verdad logramos descansar, divertirnos y disfrutar de nuestra estancia, seguramente volveremos!!!

Todo estuvo fantástico a excepción de los insectos (alacranes) que se encontraron. más porque llevaba muchos pequeños. Todo lo demás excelente.

Se trata de una vivienda espaciosa, completamente equipada con servicios y comodidades para asegurar una estancia confortable. Abdul, un anfitrión excepcional, mantiene una comunicación fluida y ofrece valiosas recomendaciones.

El lugar es muy bueno para grupos de 10-15 personas. Tiene buenas amenidades y es amplio.
