The place looks just like in the photos: a small paradise. The hosts are extremely kind and always willing to help. Herwin, the young man in charge of guest services, is polite, helpful, and gave us great tips. Everything was spotless. The jacuzzi worked well, and the pool was nearly empty during our stay (we visited in April, likely due to the low season). I recommend staying in touch with the host. Our cabin had no AC or fans, which surprised us, but it wasn’t hot enough to need them. If visiting between June and September, ask the host in advance. Also, note that the house is in San Pedro Las Huertas, outside Antigua, so you’ll need a car or taxi (it’s an 18-minute drive to the center). That said, it’s a safe and beautiful spot. You wake up to the sounds of animals by your window. Peacocks sleep beside the cabins. We loved waking to birdsong and having our first coffee with breathtaking volcano views. Highly recommended.

Solinas place was beautiful, has a beautiful garden and wonderful access to the beach area. The breakfasts provided were fantastic and made waking up easy. Solina is a very cheery and energetic host and made it fun to talk to her. Her neighbor Steve also pops in to help. He's a great guy and provided us with lots of local tips to save money and make the most of our stay! Thanks for having us :)

Antigua stay - We had a great stay! Even though there were multiple tenants, we rarely saw people around the house which made the environment feel nice and private. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice hot shower, though you’ll need to be wise with your time. The hot water lasted for around 7-10 minutes, but was not an issue for us. We regret not issuing the sauna in the back yard. You should check it out if you have a chance. The rooftop view was nice! I recommend an Uber to and from Antigua. The side walks get a little scarce in a few areas. Ubers are very affordable though. JB (the manager) is very nice and professional. He recommended to use the Waze app when trying to find the property, which was very helpful. Other map apps took us somewhere else across town. Overall great vibes!

Beautiful and well maintained property! Ana was very friendly and helpful. The peacocks were our favorite part of the stay! Would definitely come back again :)

Precioso! Un lugar súper interesante. Muchos empleados por todos lados. Te levantas y en la cocina de la casa preparan desayuno para todos los huéspedes de otras casas. Raro pero rico levantarse con desayuno incluido!

Irving est un hôte accueillant et très à l'écoute de vos demandes et très rapide à y répondre.Situation près du centre du parc central et il est très facile de s'y retrouver. L'hôtel est très propre , l'espace cuisine qui est mis à notre disposition ainsi que l'équipement est très bien et plus que suffisante.L' endroit est très sécuritaire et le wifi Excellent.

this stay in Totonicapán was truly something unique and life changing. Carlos and his whole family are pillars of their community who strongly advocate for the preservation of the local K'iche cultural and linguistic heritage, artistry, and traditional agrarian lifestyle. While I was with the Chaclan family, I felt so honored to bear witness to the traditions of their community, and their eager willingness to introduce me to their way of life was something unlike I had ever experienced beforehand. after this visit, I plan to come back to Totonicapán periodically to further study the area. I encourage any visitor to the Guatemalan highlands curious about the local traditions to book a stay with this family, as they will ensure you are taken care of as a member of their own household, and provide you with information about anything on the area that piques your curiosity.

It’s probably hard to go wrong with Airbnb rentals on Lake Atitlan. That being said, Candis + Cameron + Isa’s retreat space was a heavenly departure from the rest of the world. If you’re looking for off the grid jungle life, you’ll love it! Breakfasts were delightful mixtures of eggs, blue corn tortillas, veggies and cheese. The coffee and most ingredients were locally sourced, with herbs from their garden. We opted for to “take a Tuj” which was their ultra hot sauna. 10/10 recommend, especially since you get to learn about the cultural significance of it. They also recommended various restaurants and activities, and seemed to have a healthy sense of what we were seeking. Overall, I highly recommend Candis’ home for people who are very comfortable in nature.

Un lugar muy bonito, de fácil acceso y muy buena ubicación. La atención fue lo mejor, muy serviciales todo el staff, y les recomiendo tomar el desayuno, delicioso y suculento.

Such a delightful stay at Ginger’s casa! It really felt like a home away from home. Communal breakfasts were the highlight - setting the tone for the day. It is clear that Ginger loves hosting and creating a warm home for her guests to land. I am so happy I chose to stay here during my visit to Antigua. The only thing I will say is that if you stay in San Juan de Obispo during Semana Santa, I highly recommend coming home at a decent time as many of the roads in Antigua are closed at night and it can be very challenging to uber home.

Short stay but a great Night in the center of Guatemala, the place was clean, and beautiful, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ truly recommended if you need something near by the airport, and also near to the center, I will definitely be back 🙂‍↕️

Lindo lugar para pasar la noche y conocer la ciudad, buena zona y personal muy amable

It’s a prefect place to stay in San Pedro. The location is good. You can walk to the Main Street in 5 mins. And also walk to the lake in 5 mins. Adrian and David are the best hosts ever. Feels like a family. Having a great conversation with English and also Spanish. Unforgettable part is the food cook by David. He can make 3000 different kinds sauces. And always try something new with the meals and it taste good. Definitely will go back one day.

The stay was perfect! Prepared, clean and exactly what's described. The hosts were responsive, friendly and helpful. Wish I stayed more than 1 night.

The space is private with a shared courtyard, rooftop balcony and kitchen with rooms encircling the beautiful courtyard. There is someone on staff at the front desk all day and into the evening to ensure a safe and comfortable stay. The rooftop balcony is a wonderful space to have a bottle of wine and Watch the sunset. Close to shops and restaurants this is a great location in Antigua. The bathroom did not have ventilation was the only minor critique, but a fan was provided to keep circulating the room. Would come back again!
