Holiday rentals with a patio in Guimaraes

We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Porto! It’s located in a very cute neighborhood—quietly charming with local character, yet still very accessible to everything you might need. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and communication smooth and pleasant. One of the real highlights is the terrace, which made for a perfect spot to relax with a coffee or a glass of wine. The apartment is next to a road, so you may hear some traffic, but the windows and doors do a great job of blocking out most of the noise—we had no issues sleeping. The bathroom is clean and modern, with the toilet inside (which is always convenient). The kitchen really impressed us—extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking at home. All in all, a great experience and we’d definitely recommend this apartment to other travelers!

This place is beautiful! Right in the heart of the older part of town (where you want to be). It’s walkable to almost everything! And the hosts were incredibly helpful. I even called them at one point because I couldn’t find parking- and they guided me to safe affordable parking for the duration of our stay. Fantastic. One of the best places we stayed while in Portugal. The views were amazing. Exactly what we needed before we left Portugal. Thank you again!

We loved our stay in Porto! The apartment was beautiful, clean and comfortable, and their instructions were very easy to follow. Having a spot to park our car was also a great perk, especially since you can walk to everywhere from this spot easily. We highly recommend this spot if you’re in Porto!

Pedro’s place is absolutely stunning – the interior is beautiful, the location was ideal, and the roof terrace really made our trip feel special 🤍 The only downside was the check-in experience. Even though we were told check-in was from 3pm, and I let Pedro know multiple times that we’d be arriving around 6, we didn’t get there until 7 after a long and tiring travel day – only to be greeted on opening the door by one of the owners and a workman who were still in the apartment finishing up some work. They told us they’d been there since 5pm and weren’t sure when we were arriving so decided to go ahead anyway, which felt frustrating.. and awkward after the journey. They stayed for another hour after our arrival, which wasn’t ideal when all we wanted to do was relax. That aside, once we properly settled in, we loved our stay – really felt like home:) the space and location really are amazing & the free storage for our bags after checkout was so so helpful & a lovely touch <3 thanks

Fabio's place is recently renovated (as of June 2025) and a beautiful space. We did not cook but the kitchen appeared well-stocked. Space was spotlessly clean. The shower was hot and with good pressure. The apartment is centrally located in walking distance from all the main attractions. It is probably a 25-30 minute walk to the other side of the river and the Port Wine cellars, but that is the furthest point from the apartment that we needed to go. There are lots of restaurants right around the apartment within a 5 minute walk. The Clerigos tower is 10 minutes by foot. The main cathedral is about 20 minutes by foot. Among the restaurants, we really enjoyed Mare by Meia-Nau. It just recently opened and has a good (albeit minimal) seafood menu. The "Arroz de Marisco" was excellent. We arrived by train at the Porto-Campanha station. It is a 15 minutes cab ride from there to the apartment. Fabio was a great host (fast clear responses) and accommodated our late checkout.

Fiquei extremamente satisfeita com a estadia nesta casa! Desde o primeiro momento, senti-me muito bem recebida. A casa é exatamente como nas fotos – limpa, bem decorada e com um ambiente acolhedor que fez com que me sentisse em casa. A localização é excelente, tranquila mas ao mesmo tempo perto de tudo o que é necessário, como restaurantes e supermercados.

Acomodação exatamente como nas fotos, localização calma, prático por ser alguns metros de um mercado e outros pontos de interesse. Cerca de 10 minutos de carro do centro de Guimarães. O self check-in foi super prático e com a senha tivemos acesso ao cofre com as chaves. A casa estava extremamente limpa e o aquecimento central, com certeza foi um diferencial, dando um conforto térmico necessário nos dias mais frios que estivemos por lá. Ao chegarmos ao local, a casa já estava aquecida! A cozinha é bastante equipada e nos atendeu para além do esperado. A garagem acomoda bem um carro grande, visto que tem uma mesa para convívio. É uma ótima acomodação para a família. Se busca tranquilidade com conforto, esse é o espaço ideal.

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

We had such a glorious stay, we cannot recommend it enough. Carolina was super responsive and accommodating, gave us amazing recommendations of restaurants and kindly booked a couple of reservations for us. Everything is within walking distance throughout the city. The apartment is surrounded with beautiful views. The plunge pool was a lovely bonus to cool down in the late afternoon, not overlooked at all. Thank you again x

Nos ha encantado la casa de Jose Mario. Todo estaba muy limpio y recogido, el barrio muy tranquilo, las camas cómodas, los baños relucientes, muchas luz, poder aparcar en la puerta y cómoda para ver el norte de Portugal. Todo lo que se puede desear cuando alquilas una casa por Airbnb a un precio más que razonable. Simplemente perfecta.

When we first saw Mario’s place and the fact it was a perfect five stars from all previous guests - it was difficult to believe. But we immediately upon arrival understood why this was a perfect 5 stars…this is an incredibly special property - from the streams, waterfalls, history as an olive press, trails, peacefulness - this place was absolutely one of a kind. All in our group agreed this place, of all the places we’ve stayed in the world, was truly truly special….if we could give more than 5 stars - we would. Mario and Cila were fantastic hosts and incredibly responsive and the amenities and nice touches throughout made us feel right at home - better than home. Such a wonderful stay.

Experiência incrível e a repetir! A casa tem uma vista de cortar a respiração. A piscina muito bem localizada com a churrasqueira, torna o espaço muito agradável. Limpeza 5 estrelas. O anfitrião foi sempre bastante prestável, sempre disponível para esclarecer todas as dúvidas que pudessem surgir. Aconselho muito esta experiência, pois foi das melhores até hoje. A única coisa a apontar é a temperatura do jacuzzi não ser ajustável. Estava com 37,5.º e a certo momento, tornava-se desconfortável.

Ricardo has been responsive since the original booking months ago. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, apartment was quiet. He met us there to give the instructions in person and was quick to respond for any needs. This place is highly recommended!

Jose ist ein toller Gastgeber und hat uns mit leckeren Sachen im Kühlschrank überrascht. Die Wohnung ist modern und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet...ein Wasserkocher wäre noch gut... Handtücher mehr als ausreichend. Eine Waschmaschine steht zur Verfügung. Wir waren 2 Tage zu Gastund haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ludo and Park were truly exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond by sharing fantastic local recommendations and insider tips, which really enriched our trip. The space itself was spotless, bright, and wonderfully spacious. Having our own private pool was an absolute treat, especially during the hot weather. The location couldn’t be better: everything is within walking distance, and public transport is a breeze to use. I honestly have no complaints; it was a perfect experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be booking again when I return to Porto. Thank you so much, Park and Ludo! ❤️

An amazing place to stay! The flat was lovely and clean, shower was nice and big and the bed was super comfy. Made the most of it being a ground floor flat by sunbathing just outside the little patio area and walking straight to the pool for a dip. Also a great location to walk into town for either the beach, shops or restaurants. Not too far to walk to the supermarket for food either. Adelina was always super quick to reply to messages, and was exceptionally friendly and helpful anytime we did message. Cannot recommend enough!!

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

Superbe séjour chez Nuno. Logement propre à notre arrivée. Paisible, sans vis à vis et situé à 20 min à pied du centre et à 15 min du métro. Commerces à proximité. Nuno est toujours disponible et réactif.

Excellent location and comfortable apartment - we stayed 3 nights, and it is within walking distance of many sights and restaurants, but remarkably quiet given where it is. A small balcony overlooks an interior courtyard. There is a coffee machine/electric kettle for tea, and a laundromat around the corner. Highly recommend.

Rodrigo was a very attentive host. Suggested sights to visit and great restaurants. We did have an issue with no hot water Wednesday night and contacted Rodrigo. After to trying to reset the heater, and no luck he had a service technician along with himself at the unit at 5pm the next day. The technician could not repair the hot water heater and said he had to order a new board, needless to say he was unable to get the part before our checkout on Saturday. The issue was not Rodrigo’s fault as we know these things happen, however no hot water for 3days is a major inconvenience. Rodrigo was very apologetic and offered us a “fair” compensation for our inconvenience. I assume it will be processed through Airbnb. Our host Rodrigo was an attentive, friendly and a nice person. His home was extremely comfortable for 3 adults and would definitely recommend it.
