Excellent place, very private

Thank you for the fantastic stay! Tanyia and Rod are amazing hosts. We appreciated the communication and flexibility when booking and leaving. Great recommendations, can’t wait to try some of them when we return. The place is tidy and spotless. Loved the flowers and it’s very well stocked - has everything you need. Great A/C and the showers were so refreshing. The view from the living room is so beautiful of the lake. Our girls loved having their own private area with the king bed. The neighborhood is so peaceful and beautiful- perfect place for a stroll by fields with horses. As with so many places in Costa Rica, there are some steep dirt road inclines on the way - we had no trouble in our 4 wheel drive. This place offers clean, peaceful solitude to listen to the sounds of the Costa Rica jungle tucked away on the south side of Lake Arenal. We only spent evenings there so we didn’t go to the clubhouse.

The place has a spectacular view, ideal for large families and the house is very wheelchair accessible. There is plenty of space throughout the property and the cleanliness of the spectacular house. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking. There are no supermarkets nearby so it is advisable to shop before getting to the place. I would definitely come back.

We had a great time, everything was perfect.We loved the pool and the casita was perfect for my 25 years old daughter. The view was incredible. There was construction near by but it wasn’t loud. It didn’t affect our vacation. I loved the kitchen, it was really well equipped! We highly recommend La Caza de Paz and we would come back for sure!

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely breathtaking! The property was stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a cozy yet luxurious vibe. We were surrounded by gorgeous nature—lush greenery and serene landscapes that felt like a dream. We were worried the entire trip would be rainy, but to our delight, the skies cleared, giving us an incredible, unobstructed view of the volcano. It was the highlight of our stay! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for beauty and tranquility.

The Jungle Rock is a truly stunning little gem nestled in nature and perfect for those who really want to immerse themselves in the jungle and appreciate all the surroundings have to offer. AMAZING view just a few steps away. Vincent is incredibly kind and made great suggestions about places to go. You can tell he put much care into this tiny home. It is about 15-20min removed from town and some beaches, but honestly the road to and from was one of our favorite parts, it was just so so beautiful, the drive felt like a treat in itself. Definitely recommend !!

The host was extremely quick to respond. The location overlooking the ridge is beautiful. The house was very clean the back deck was a fantastic place to watch birds. When we got there there we inquired about where to purchase ground coffee for the morning and the host went out and brought some to us, which was unexpected and very kind. The direct road to the location was closed so we had to loop up and back down. That was the only minor inconvenience.

we had a wonderful stay at monteverde thanks to dulce! the home is clean and beautiful and the location is central to the nature preserves. perfect for birding!

The apartment is absolutely beautiful, and the views are stunning! We instantly fell in love with the place. Communication with Luis was smooth and easy—he was incredibly helpful and shared many great recommendations. We would return without hesitation. Thank you, Luis, for everything!

The place was really nice and comfortable, we found everything we needed and the building has awesome nice areas for pictures. The view it’s great and the location was really convenient to visit any area of San Jose.

This home is beautiful and the location on the beach is amazing. There was a learning curve to get the air conditioning working properly which was likely user error on our part. Bring a soft cooler to carry cold beverages down to the beach so you dont need to run up and down the stairs.. Despite the minor criticisms above i would highly recommend this place. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Fernan was very responsive and attentive. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The building staff were really great and accommodating. The rooftop gym, lap pool and the general pool are a real bonus. The restaurants, cafe and mini-market were very convenient. A hair salon had just opened the day before I checked out but good to know there is another added convenience on the property. Id stay there again!

We loved Diego's house. Super cute and full of personality. We will definitely return :)

We enjoyed our stay in Monteverde. Yamileth was always responsive and friendly and took the time to greet us upon arrival. I will miss my mornings and nights sitting on the terrace enjoying the view and listening to the birds. Thank you for hosting us!

This location is so beautiful and unique! It is like being in a multi tiered treehouse in the jungle that is a block from civilization. One afternoon we had monkeys visit us and play on the trees around the house and roof! The host and housekeeper are very responsive. Know that some beds and rooms are separate apartments. But the main house is beautiful wood with an open layout that we all met up in by the fireplace in the evening. Amazing memories and trip!

We stayed 7 nights at Danielle’s gorgeous home and loved it. The property is private and stunningly beautiful. With a huge variety of trees, including mango, the diversity of birds is wonderful. While in the house, the view out every window is so colorful and Danielle’s sense of design in the home reflects that. The 2 bedrooms are very comfortable with perfect air flow thru the windows and overhead fans allowing for perfect sleeping conditions. The large stone lined shower is fantastic and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. We also loved the location of the house. Close to Nuevo Arenal with it’s great restaurants and right where you need to be to start your drive towards Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna activities. Danielle is also the perfect host. Checking in to make sure everything is going well and super responsive with any questions you might have. We will definitely plan to stay here in the future.

Wonderful hosts, and the gardens and grounds are stunning and peaceful! Easily accessible to the Toucan Rescue Ranch. A perfect place for our stay.

We’ve stayed at some cool places over the years, but Casa Del Mono is one of my all-time favorites. It’s a perfect little getaway for anyone who wants to be close to nature but with all the comforts of home. It’s a very private property sitting way up the side of a mountain with a beautiful courtyard and hiking trails right out the front door. You simply cannot beat the view, and waking up to a chorus of birds like toucans, oropendolas, and tanagers was incredible (bring your binoculars)! The house itself is beautiful and well-equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed is comfortable, and the shower/tub are gorgeous. It was everything we were hoping for in a Costa Rican stay, and I hope we get to visit again soon!

Our stay at this stunning home was nothing short of PERFECT! A huge thank you to Daniela, our incredible host, who went above and beyond to make our trip seamless. She graciously allowed our big crew (all 19 of us—kids included!) to check in early after our drive from Jaco and even helped coordinate airport transportation. Talk about hospitality! The house itself is absolute DREAMS—spacious, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking views that had us all swooning. We had more than enough room to spread out, cook family feasts in the fully equipped kitchen, and grill dinners under the stars. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. From morning coffees on the patio to late-night laughs in the living areas, every moment here felt magical. We’re already counting down the days until we can return! If you want peaceful and remote, this is the place for you! We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Giselle’s place was less than 5 min from Playa Coco, which was the best beach in the area (we didn’t surf but seemed like everyone that did also went there). There are not a ton of restaurants in the area, but as it’s easy to cook in the full kitchen and enjoy the beautiful views from the Airbnb, I’d recommend bringing your own groceries, striking up a fire and settling in. Watched the birds come in every morning from bed!

Remarkable, immaculately designed and kept luxury villa. A little bit off the beaten path. Nearest airport being Liberia (LIR), 2 hrs away and you’ll need a 4x4 to get there. Having said that, this place is absolutely a hidden gem you won’t want to leave in a hurry. Note: it is a remarkably large property and we could easily have fit another family of 5 (alongside us) and not seen each other for days. Hosts were always responsive and communicative and made our stay memorable and easy.
