Holiday rentals with a patio in Gulf of Nicoya

Truly amazing stay. Laura could not of been a better host. From the start we felt right at home and Laura was kind enough to offer us rides to town to show us around. She made us feel right at home and her property is beautiful. For getting to town just use Uber, it’s really cheap! Casa Catalina is the perfect spot in Tamarindo and Laura could not have been a better more thoughtful host!

Very pretty house with a super nice outdoor area with the highlight, directly overlooking the Arenal volcano. In the morning, I had breakfast there with hummingbirds. There was plenty of storage space in the house and the bed was comfortable. On the way there, you have to pay attention to the signs on the large boulder in the last few meters

My time in Costa Rica was great but what made it the best experience was my Airbnb with Leidy she was absolutely amazing the entire way and very helpful and communicative. I can’t wait to stay at her property again. Definitely worth it. The place was beautiful and clean and it made me forget all about my own home 😂

David was more than helpful with an easy early check in, and he sent an amazing list of things to prepare for, local recommendations and places to see along with some to avoid. His communication was clear, helpful, and very responsive. it was a pleasure to use his space during my trip.

Our time at Danta Santa was truly amazing ! We loved how private the location felt and how beautiful it was. The pictures looked exactly like the pictures and somehow in person it was more breathtaking! Although it rained a lot during our stay we didn’t mind because the Airbnb was truly our own oasis. We loved that we had the option to have the place fully opened or closed. The space was perfect for a couple trying to get away from a crowded city. We loved that everything was nearby, such as the restaurants and activities. Everything was 20 mins away or less. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, modern and cozy place to stay! We will definitely be retuning and booking Danta Santa.

Axel’s Samara home is nothing short of amazing! After a super long day of travel I was speechless walking through the door - it is even better than the pictures. This property is a great way to experience a smaller coastal Costa Rica town while still feeling like you are living in luxury. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

This house is lovely and the view is gorgeous. We spent much of our time on the porch enjoying the pool, hot tub and view. I highly recommend some time relaxing at the house. Fabian was very helpful in planning excursions. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of hot water! We also were grateful for enough seating for everyone in our party both outside and in the living room. We did have a 1 year old with us and that was challenging in the layout of the house but we made it work. Highly recommend this house and this area. So much to do! Do the daytime Mangrove tour and guided MA park tour. Pura Vida!

Barbara and Johns place exceed our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice it was truly beautiful. They were also amazing hosts and went above and beyond to help make our stay very special. I would heavily recommend staying here and with this host! Barbara gave many great recommendations and even helped my boyfriend (now fiancée) plan a surprise proposal at the local beach! This was truly a trip to remember and the beautiful house and amazing hosts made our stay even more incredible.

I enjoyed my stay so much that I rebooked for two extra nights! This place is not only cozy and private, but also thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. The attention to detail makes it feel like a true home away from home. The host is fantastic—responsive, kind, and communicates clearly throughout. A truly peaceful and well-run spot that I’d happily return to again and again.

Marlen was a great host! she was always responsive and quick. when we arrived she took us on a tour of the property. The place was nice and peaceful. we even got greeted by the neighbors puppy!

Truly a home away from home with hospitality that is unmatched. We were astounded by the this beautiful Airbnb , immaculate and well stocked including a full washer and dryer which was a godsend. It is evident that Josh and Yer pour in their hearts to make their place an oasis of comfort and kindness. They gave the clearest instructions to access the home with helpful photos. They left us snacks, sodas, and coffee and that was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. We felt so welcomed. I wish all Airbnb hosts had their proactive care! They set the bar high! We had an amazing time at this beautiful home tucked into the jungle. The setting is very serene, with the sound of the river always in the background and the plethora of wildlife all around. The bed was very comfy, so a good nights rest was practically guaranteed. There are a few things I would note for anyone considering the home, especially if this is your first visit to the area. It is a 10+ minute rocky drive to the home off the main road, not a big deal with a sturdy car. Especially during rainy season, there’s a good chance you’ll lose power at some point, but seems to be restored quickly. Most places, including this home, discouraged you from flushing toilet paper, an adjustment from home. Being that this place is so small, there’s not a ton of privacy between the bathroom and bedroom, and the living area is not meant for lounging. That’s what the outdoor spaces are for! This was an experience unlike any other we’ve had in our previous visits to CR, I highly recommend it!

We really loved our stay at Purapura! The apartment was super clean and beautifully set up—felt like a little oasis. The owner gave us great tips on things to do and places to eat, which made a big difference. It’s in a great spot too—walking distance to the main street with tons of restaurants, and also close to the beach. We spent our days chilling by the pool, surfing, and trying out all the good food in Santa Teresa. Would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful apartment and beautiful views of the city especially at night. Not having AC wasn't even a problem there are plenty of fans and windows with a cool breeze coming in from being up to high.

Beautiful condo in a secure location. Very kind and proactive hosts, provided lots of useful information.

Gabriel was a very responsive host and made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. His place is very nice, safe, and clean. He gave great suggestions on things to do around the neighborhood. We would recommend this place when staying in San José!

I’ve stayed here multiple times and intend on staying in the future. It’s a great place if you’re near Liberia.
