Family-friendly holiday rentals in Gulf Shores

The place was very clean and the entrance to the beach was directly in front of the airbnb. Amazing spot, plus it gave a comfortable coastal home vibe. Would recommend staying here!

Needed some R&R perfect little spot

The home was exactly as advertised. The host was responsive, the check in and check out instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. I will book with them again in the future.

The place was a wonderful location! We loved everything about it! The host was very friendly.

The unit was updated, beautifully decorated, roomy and clean! Beautiful ocean view from the balcony. The pools and hot tubs were clean and nice. The gym had all we needed for daily workouts. Close to grocery stores, ice cream shops and restaurants.

Every Airbnb I've stayed at, I found something "I" didn't like, or something "I" did like. I'm sure your list would be different than mine. Kevin was a very gracious host! Thought we had a problem with the dryer. Contacted Kevin, got suggestions, hung up the phone, figured it out. There was nothing wrong with the dryer, we just had to small of a load in it. I was disappointed that we only got two rolls of toilet paper, one for each bathroom; after paying over $1,200. Kevin suggested we did bring extra so everything was good. I slept in the King Size Bed with my wife. My wife didn't like it at all, after all she is picky! She picked me. I didn't have any problem. My guest, in the 2nd bedroom, was also disappointed in the comfort of their bed. He purchased a blow up raft from Walmart to put on top of the bed. Your mileage may vary... All in all, it's a very nice, clean, well located place. Easy access to the beach via the walkway over the highway. Thank you Kevin for hosting us...

Where to begin on this wonderful condo? Having security shack to check in at made me feel safe. When I opened the door I smelled how clean it was. It is absolutely beautifully decorated. The layout is wonderful and ensures privacy for each bedroom. The heated pool was a wonderful place to relax after a long day. One pool is 21 and older which offers a calm quiet relaxing atmosphere. Rodney was easy to reach when I had a question. Beach was easy access and not overly crowded. It is a 25 minute drive to the main strip but door dash and grub hub prevented too many trips. The peace was worth being further out. Everything is beautiful and well kept. Scenery is beautiful. A huge thank you to this wonderful couple for providing such an amazing vacation home!!!!!

The host's communication was amazing! Timely feedback and some great local recommendations. The property was perfect for a couple and the amenities are simply amazing. The pool and hot tub were a great addition and the only issue I have was I wish I could stay longer. The bed is comfy and the small kitchen was perfect for the space. Keep in mind the bathroom is small but completely manageable if you communicate with your travel partner. Easy to find and easy to access. Persons with mobility issues may have some difficulties navigating the stone pavers and the multi-level backyard. The kitchen also has two steps down from the main level of the studio. Bottom line…we loved it and think you will too! Time to stop reading and book before you miss your chance. I will 100% book again when I am in the area.

Everything about our stay was great! The home was very clean. We liked that the yard was fenced high from the road with privacy. The outdoor shower was great. Would highly recommended.

This was a very nice home away from home. Had everything you would at home. Stove, fridge, washer and dryer, utensils, along with being clean. Perfect location on a quiet street just off the main road so you were still close to restaurants, attractions, and only minutes from the beach. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

Our stay at Tranquility Base was awesome! The location was perfect, tucked away in a chill area but still close to all the fun stuff to check out. The cottage was cozy and welcoming, super clean, and had a vibe that made it feel like home. Joseph, our host, was super helpful and always around if we had questions, plus he gave us some great tips on things to do and places to eat. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to celebrate our anniversary, and we definitely recommend Tranquility Base for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This was the best Airbnb we have ever seen. Beautiful and perfectly located. Mike was so friendly and welcoming. The apartment was clean with comfortable beds and artistic decorations. HIGHLY recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Terri’s cottage. We were in town for our summer vacation. The cottage was perfect for the two of us. It was an easy drive to the beach and far enough away to enjoy the quiet to be able to relax. Terri made some great recommendations for restaurants while we were in town and was very responsive to my questions.

Amazing place!!! House is clean, well stocked and decorated lovely! AC is so cold and works fantastic - nice to walk into after a hot day at the beach/pool! Beds comfortable too! The shuttle to/from the beach club was fantastic and we enjoyed the golf cart to take night drives around the neighborhood. Excellent communication with host and very accommodating. Even the bus drivers and community gate guards were amazing! We would most definitely stay here again if in the area. Thank you!

Loved the view ! We were there for Sand in my Boots festival - condo was walking distance to the venue. We had a great time very relaxing

My party of 4 really enjoyed our stay here! We had a great view of the beach from the balcony and staying on the beach made everything much more conveneint. The entire place was very clean and spotless during our stay. There is 24/7 security which made us feel very safe. There is a restaurant downstairs as well as a convenient store within walking distance. We definitely will come back!

We brought my mother and our 3 kids aged 3, 5, and 12 to stay at Gavin’s place for 5 nights. We had an AMAZING stay!! The beach is a short walk across the street and the pool is right outside the unit! So convenient and both were never crowded! The place itself is also lovely and had very comfortable, clean beds. My mom said the fold out couch bed was even comfortable for her and she’s a picky one! Having a balcony attached to each room was nice! We enjoyed lots of down and rest time in the condo because it’s in such a beautiful, peaceful location. We loved walking down and sitting out at the end of the pier at the picnic tables. Very relaxing! It’s also a super easy drive to just about anything you want to do!! 1 thing to note (not an issue for us, but if someone didn’t read into the listing then it might be for them) You have to climb about 30 stairs to get to the unit and then there is an upstairs IN the unit. But we embraced the workout! :) We will DEFINITELY be staying again!

We had a family getaway, with 12 folks, two littles up to two senior citizens. This home had 5 full sized bedrooms and one sweet little bedroom, three bathrooms. We had plenty of room for cooking, eating, relaxing and sleeping. We really enjoyed having the boardwalk from the back door to the beach. There’s a nice charcoal grill that we made use of too. And we all enjoyed making the short walk to very nice pools! It was a nice surprise to find we had two refrigerators which came in very handy. We had an issue with the washing machine but Shaun was very responsive and had it replaced the next day! We would love to come back sometime.

The condo was very nice and smelled clean. The view was beautiful and the walk to the beach was just crossing the street. The host was very accommodating with an early check-in even though I ended up not needing it. I only gave 4 stars because the instructions on entering the unit with the provided code wasn’t clear. We got in around 7pm and had to wait outside for like 10 minutes before getting a call back. Not a long wait at all, but after being on a long drive we were a little annoyed by that. Other than that everything was amazing!

Great condo at San Carlos . Perfect place and location for families. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was exactly as described and had everything we needed . We would stay here again .
