A family run mountain lodge deep in the Joetsu National Park, 175km from Tokyo and a few hundred meters from Tanigawadake Ropeway and Tenjindaira Ski Resort. The green summers are perfect for Rafting, Canyoning, Hiking and Mountain Biking! Winters see some of the biggest snowfalls in all of Japan, lifts hum from Nov through May and the terrain is amazing. RedGateLodge 5 Rooms 5~10~15 Guests Directly slope

This is a private rental of five rooms at Takakusayama Mountain View, directly connected to the “Romance no Kamisama” ski slope. The listed rate covers up to 10 guests. Additional guests cost 8,000 yen per person per night, and the property accommodates 5–15 guests. Bedding is provided as beds or futons. If more than 10 guests stay, please add them to the booking. The base rate remains the same even with fewer than 10 guests.

This style of accomodations is great option for a couple or friends wanting that extra privacy. We are just 100M from the slopes and 50m from the closest of the 13 natural hot water onsens in town.
