You can freely use the yard, which is hard to find in the city. ❇️You can enjoy the traditional look and modern interior by renovating a hanok built in 1939. ❇️ There is a yard, and as a Hanok is a wooden building, we do disinfect weekly, but bugs may appear very rarely. Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, close to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace in the heart of Seoul. Dongchonjae, built about 100 years ago, is a traditional hanok that has been officially certified by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organization. Dongchonjae has been operating since October 2020, when a retired couple opened their home to guests. Dongchonjae is located on a 380.17 m² plot of land. It consists of one building, and the space is divided into the main building (Anche/Main) House), Sarangchae/Detached House, and Annex. Guests have exclusive use of the Main House and the Annex. The host is in a separate building. You will be staying in a detached house, and we will personally assist you with necessary services such as providing breakfast. We hope you can comfortably experience the tranquil beauty and subtle atmosphere of a traditional hanok at Dongchonjae. It is a 100-year-old hanok guest house designated as a tourist convenience facility in Seoul, and has been in business for four generations. The host couple lives nearby, completely separated from the space used by guests, and provides breakfast.
