Cheerful place to stay in converted barn

Sure, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to gardens, forest and lake! In 2022, we embarked on an exciting project to transform the barn on my grandfather's parent farm into a luxury leisure home. In May 2023 we finished the one apartment and in the autumn the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the patio in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Loading the car is included in the price.

Modern, charming and cozy accommodation in Nykulla

Minibacke is a lovely countryside accommodation in Nykulla, 2.5 km north of Växjö. You live in a newly renovated barn with fields and forests outside the knot and with many nearby sights. The place is best suited for 2 people. In the kitchen you can cook lighter meals. Stove, microwave, coffee maker and fridge with freezer compartment available. Smart TV with Chromecast and Soundbar with Bluetooth connection. Bathroom with toilet, shower, washer and dryer. Sauna and an outdoor hot tub with hot water. 2 bicycles are included.

A unique and peaceful home in the midst of forest. In this treehouse you live up among the trees on a quiet and peaceful place with animals, birds and nature as neighbors. Here the noise level is quiet, it smells of forest and the air is clean. If you're looking for a place to unwind, you've found the right place. The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house stands in and the insulation is shavings from the floors and walls. For us, it's organic and local important to take care of.

Tranquil, renovated cottage in Småland

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

In de bossen van Asa (de hooglanden van zuid Zweden genoemd) verhuren wij onze stuga. Het is gelegen in een prachtig gebied in Småland met heel veel meren, heuvels en bossen, er zijn vele badplaatsen met steigers en strandjes om lekker te kunnen zwemmen, vissen en varen. Er zijn verschillende wandelroutes en steden in de buurt zoals Växjö. Het huisje ligt vlak naast een natuurgebied en is heerlijk rustig gelegen, wil jij ook kunnen ervaren om “offgrid” te kunnen wonen?
