Gîte "La Forestière"

“La Forestière” has previously experienced a lively industrial life. It was in this property that the stove of Saint Lambert was installed, which in 1870 became a match factory. In 1874, it hosted a marble sawmill whose industrial buildings were destroyed in 1931 and the house transformed into a guinguette. In 1970, "La Forestière" became a private property. It is in this peaceful and green setting that the hosts welcome you for a pleasant stay.

5 km from Soignies which has a train station, charming farmhouse fully equipped and recently renovated (triple glazed chassis and outdoor insulation), set back from the road, rural setting in a very interesting region. Bus stop in front of the house. Many cultural/sporting/"nature" activities in the nearby area. In Soignies all the shops available. Parking spot for one city car in the property free street parking.
