Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hakusan

Unfortunately, the weather was rainy, but we enjoyed the pleasant space even though we couldn't go out.♪ Also, there are many shops in the neighborhood, and the location is good, so I was very satisfied overall. If you have another chance, thank you.

Great house with big rooms and all you need for 4-6 people. Great personal check in experience. At first a little unsure because found the self check ins in other Airbnb also very good but it was a nice and warm personal welcome. Would recommend to all other groups Thanks for having us 🙏🏼

Our visit to Kanazawa was made very special by our host and their lovely home. The home is in a quaint lovely neighborhood that's near logs of things to see, restaurants and of course lots of cool shrines and temples. The beds were comfy, the main tatami room had a cute little garden view and the bathroom/shower was perfect for us. It's real close to the river and is a great place for a walk. Catching a bus to the Kanazawa castle or Omicho market was super easy and convenient. There is also a local onsen very close by that was welcoming and relaxing. We absolutely loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone wanting a quite yet close to everything place to stay in Kanazawa. We hope to make it back someday soon.

A very lovely home. A modern house with traditional Japanese features. Beautifully decorated interiors The home was very well cleaned and maintained. Staff who provided check in on site were very professional and friendly. The futons were very comfortable to sleep on and the space throughout the house was peaceful. Close to all the great attractions of Kanazawa.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Check-in was seamless and the unit had everything we could possibly need. The location in Furukawa is perfect...right on the most beautiful street in the middle of town.

Koto’s place is very cosy and walkable to all the Takayama main sights. Tea room with garden was a cool touch. Host allowed us to park until 2pm after checkout.

My family really enjoyed our stay! We were very impressed by how well the space accommodated our group of eight. There were two toilet rooms, two shower rooms, and two sinks in the hall so that we could all get ready without getting into others’ way. We were also impressed by the little details that mattered, such as drying lines in each room. The owners really thought through guests’ needs. Also the location is excellent! Easy walk from the train station and main tourist sites. We did not have to use any public transit during our stay. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The apartment is very nice. it combines traditional design with the comfort of a modern apartment. It has all the amenities you need too. The futon was very comfortable. But what stands out even more than the room is the host. I'm not exaggerating when I'm saying that Keita-san is the nicest person I've ever met! He insisted to pick me up and drop me off to the train station. After picking me up he gave me a lot of local recommendations. He had a lot of resources ready: maps, links to websites for day passes, renting bikes, etc. He treats his guests extremely well. When he dropped me off, he insisted to stay with me until I picked my ticket. And I was lucky that he did because there was an issue with my ticket booking and he helped me to resolve it! I would have surely missed the train without his help. But what I enjoyed the most was that we went for dinner and drinks together. I had a wonderful time. Thank you very much!

The room was very sophisticated in design. You can use the washing machine and dryer, but there is no detergent. Overall very satisfied.

We stayed at Haruka’s place for 2 nights when we participarted at Fukui Marathon. Haruka’s place is very clean. She also very responsive. We enjoyed our stay at Haruka’s place. Arigatou Gozaimas, Haruka.

This is an awesome spot!! Could not be better located to see everything in the city, it’s right next to the garden and castle and a short walk from everything else. The host was amazing and I would recommend to anyone!

Great little apartment perfect for a solo traveler. More spacious and cozy than those in Tokyo for example. It was dark at night and not noisy, so I slept great

Great place to stay if you have a car, Amy was very kind in allowing us to park before and after we checked in as there was availability in the lot! Amy was also very responsive. Close to the center of Kanazawa and most of the tourist spots. Check in process required a bit of effort, but still worked out fine. One thing to note is that the stairs are steep and narrow, so it was difficult to bring suitcases up.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Kanazawa! The space was cosy, clean, and perfect for our little family—ideal for a couple traveling with a child. The location couldn’t have been better, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do in the city. What really made the experience stand out was our host, Takara, who was incredibly warm, helpful, and quick to respond whenever we had questions.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Household Hotel, nestled in the charming town of Himi with a stunning ocean view. The room, though small, was incredibly comfortable, featuring adorable interior decorations, charming accessories, and delightful ornaments that added a personal touch to the space. The healthy breakfast was so delicious. This was my second visit, a year after the first, and the experience was just as wonderful as I remembered. It's the kind of place I look forward to returning to whenever I visit Himi. The Household may not be grandiose, but its cozy atmosphere, warmth, and the owner couple personality shine through, making it highly recommended for those who appreciate a quaint, intimate lodging experience with a personal touch.

The hosts, Junichi san and Puy san are very accomodating and hospitable. The tourist spots are accessible from their airbnb. Hida Kokubunji is just accross the place. Our family enjoyed our stay.😊😊😊

There is also a parking lot nearby, and I had a comfortable time.

I stayed here for 3 nights on my first trip to Fukui. It was a great experience! The house is a short taxi ride from Fukui station. I loved the Japanese style rooms with tatami, and since there was heavy snow when I went, I especially enjoyed sitting under the kotatsu! The kitchen even has a dishwasher! Everything was labeled in English, and the rooms were incredibly clean and just like the photos. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and great location! The place was very well decorated with a traditional Japanese style. Stocked with lots of amenities that made the stay very convenient and comfortable.

The place matches the photos, the location is in a residential area, peaceful at night.The road to get to the house is small, and the driver is sure to follow the host's way to enter, otherwise it is easy to get stuck and come back, but the surrounding residents are friendly and help guide the way into the property on the day, thank you very much.If you go to Kanazawa again in the future, you will choose to stay here.

Great space. Very communicative host. It was a bit of a walk to get to Kanazawa Castle and the geisha district but the space was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
