Sakura Ekan is a private guest house in Sakura Echo, a symbol of Shinshu, at the foot of Zenkoji Temple, a national treasure. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Zenkoji Temple. It is a modern Japanese-style building that has been renovated to take advantage of the retro atmosphere of the Taisho period architecture. On the way to Zenkoji Temple, there is the quaint Shukubo-dori, and beyond Zenkoji Temple, there is also Jojakyo Park, where Nagano citizens relax, the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum, and the Higashiyama Kaii-kan, so why not take a leisurely stroll.  There are also many cafes, bakeries, Italian, French restaurants, and eateries near the facility, making it convenient to eat out. You can also enjoy walking and eating Shinshu soba, a local favorite. There are many soba shops around Zenkoji Temple, as well as Japanese food and Starbucks. Surrounded by nature, Nagano is also popular with mountain climbers, and it's convenient for getting to Togakushi, a power spot. Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period. It was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and was built in 1931 in this town, where lacquerware shops are still lined up. Limited to one group per day without meals, you can use the entire house. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the unforgettable beauty and abundance. It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly.
