We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy "living" in the space. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy BBQ and campfires without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, and golf during the green season, and as a base for winter sports during the snow season. The gentle and comfortable private sauna is safe for sauna beginners, allowing you to slowly relax your mind and body. With locally produced rice and eggs and authentic Retort curry that you can enjoy without having to cook or think, it's easy for moms too. There is also a large TV and card games in the building, so children can enjoy themselves. And, on weekdays, we highly recommend a two-night stay. On the first day, you can relax after the fatigue of travel, and on the second day, you can enjoy the luxury of doing nothing. It's a special treat for your family on a weekday. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

This is a stylish log cabin located in a pristine wooded area at an altitude of 1,300 meters (4,265 feet) in Iizuna, Nagano. The home is the perfect retreat for couples, families or small groups. It features a wood burning stove, large TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, stereo, leather chairs, and full kitchen. Enjoy hiking, skiing, BBQ, golf or hot spring onsen baths in the area. The home is approximately a 20-minute drive from Nagano Station on the JR Hokuriko Shinkansen bullet train and Shinano Railway.

This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. The house is authentic and unique as it was a traditional Japanese clothing (Kimono) shop before. You would feel like your own home away from home. 5 minutes walk to the Zenkoji temple and 4 minutes to the bus stop for Togakushi national park.

Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.

KIRISIMIZU Guest House

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.
