Marylin’s place is wonderful - it’s exactly as you see in the photos. Her place is so peaceful and beautiful - my partner and I are always very busy so this holiday was exactly what we needed - peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. Lachania is quiet and sleepy little village but so nice and the people are so friendly. And there a couple of nice tavernas nearby. Marylin is a fantastic host! So friendly and attentive. Any questions we had, she answered straight away. We had a great time and absolutely loved her place. It’s a real find! A car is a must though!

The place was perfect for 12 people. Lots of space and an amazing view from the villa. The area was very private. We asked for some extra dishwasher and washing machine tablets which we got straight away. The insulation between rooms could have been better. Highly recommend the place as we had a great time.

The proper and the host didn't let us down the second time. We love it there! Daffy and his family are super friendly and helpful, respectful and are amazing hosts! The property is amazing, clean, peaceful and lovely! We couldn't have wished for better and hope to visit again. Thank you Daffy and family to make us feel so welcomed and contributed to an amazing and relaxed stay!

Lovely home, well maintained and definitely clean. Comfortable accomodation. Had everything we required. Close to nice local restaurants away from all the touristy hustle and bustle. Popi was nice enough to have stocked the fridge with water, bread, ham and cheese for us, which was great when we arrived tired and hungry. Pool was lovely and clean. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this property if you are looking for a peaceful stay in Rhodes Island. Thank you Popi.

Un grand merci pour ce séjour si agréable dans votre logement ! Nous étions entre amis avec nos enfants, et tout le monde — petits comme grands — s’est senti parfaitement bien chez vous. Le logement était non seulement confortable, propre et bien situé, mais aussi vraiment pensé pour les familles. Un immense merci pour le parc à bébé et la poussette mis à disposition : ça nous a vraiment facilité la vie et permis de profiter pleinement du séjour. Et que dire de la piscine… un vrai bonheur ! Elle a fait l’unanimité auprès des enfants (et des adultes aussi, on l’avoue 😄). Parfaitement entretenue et agréable à toute heure, elle a ajouté une touche de détente et de plaisir à nos journées. Merci encore pour votre accueil chaleureux, votre disponibilité, et toutes les petites attentions qui font toute la différence. Nous repartons avec de très bons souvenirs — et l’envie de revenir !

Dorothea is an outstanding host. I felt she is teady to do anything in her capacity to help her clients. For example, we needed a late checkout, and she was very accommodationg. The apartment is great, in a very convenient location. Thanks immensely, Dorothea!

It is a calm place in the Rhodos countryside, it's in heart of old housing. Host provide useful tips. An excellent pick if you want to explore nature. We really recommend trip to Akramitis mountain, Jacob's canyon, Monolithos Castle, sunsets on Limni beach and much more.

As a family of five, we enjoyed both outside and inside. There's everything you need. And a tiny mini market very close. And a recommended taverna. Hosts like Sevva and Giota (and their friend Stella) make Airbnb my favourite booking place. Thanks again.

Die Lage des Hauses ist unschlagbar schön. Jeden Morgen haben wir den Blick aufs türkisblaue Meer genossen und sind vor dem Frühstück darin geschwommen. Faidra kümmert sich schnell und verständnisvoll um die Wünsche ihrer Gäste. Wir möchten wiederkommen, sobald es geht. Danke Faidra!

One of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed out. Jo was extremely helpful, communicative and flexible as Greek ferry timetables were not out at the time of booking. She organised a pick up & drop off for us and the cottage was absolutely gorgeous. It was stylish, very roomy & comfortable and had everything you need; we didn’t want to leave. There was helpful information on things to do and a hiking trail book that was invaluable. Her place is peaceful and at one with nature. Numerous places to sit outside & enjoy the vistas. The taverna Palio Meraki is a traditional Greek taverna and was friendly and delicious & there is a supermarket close by for any provisions you need. The people of Megalo Chorio are so friendly, we were welcomed and made to feel part of the place. 5 stars and highly recommended.

The apartment is very modern, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is excellent. The hosts had a local woman meet us at the dock and escort us to the apartment, and then called to make sure we were settled in. -Bottle of wine waiting for us. The water view from the porch is beautiful. We walked to the beach several times - easy from this location. Just up over the hill. Be aware depending on your mobility and age -there is a pretty good hill to walk up with your suitcases to access the apartment. The local lady helped me part of the time with mine, but it is steep for a portion. You could always call a taxi. There is no paved path to the house from the street- just dirt, so you can't roll the suitcase. Then you walk across the porch of the people living on the first floor to access the stairs up. They were friendly and it was not a problem - but just thought people might like to know. It is the nicest place we stayed and the price is right though. We still highly recommend!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Dimitra ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Küche ist geräumig und toll ausgestattet. Der Ortskern ist in wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar, wo sich mehrere Restaurants und Bars befinden. Von dem dortigen Trubel bekommt man in der Unterkunft aber nichts mit.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub und die Gastgeberin Miranda und auch ihr Mann sind sehr liebe, freundliche und äußerst hilfsbereite Menschen. Die Unterkunft bietet alles , was man benötigt, aber man muss sich im Klaren darüber sein , das es ein traditionelles Haus ist. Für uns war das genau richtig. Mal zurück zum Wesentlichen, was das Leben ausmacht.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen es gerne weiter.Und wenn wir nochmal auf die Insel kommen, kommen wir sehr gerne auch wieder in Mirandas uriges Haus. This is the second time we have stayed at Theodoros’ house - we absolutely love it here. It feels like home, has everything we need and the spaces are perfect for a family. Lachania is a wonderful village which we love to visit - and you can’t go wrong eating at Platanos every night!

L’alloggio di Eleni è in una posizione invidiabile, a pochi passi dal mare, con un bel giardino in cui rilassarsi. La spiaggia della zona di Kiotari è infinita, con pochissime persone ed acqua cristallina. Il vento estivo prevalente soffia da terra quindi il mare è quasi sempre calmo. Nei dintorni c’è qualche ristorante carino che si distingue nel contesto di costruzioni un po’ disordinato tipico di queste zone. Comunque siamo stati benissimo e torneremo volentieri. Grazie Eleni!

Everything was just perfect. One of the most beautiful stay ever!

This is a superbly equipped flat in a fantastic location, looking out on to the mountains and the sea. The bed is very comfortable and the shower room small but includes a washing machine. The kitchen area is really well equipped, with a proper cooker with four rings and an oven / grill. The fridge / freezer is full-size and there is plenty of space on the worktops. The air conditioner is modern and quiet. Probably the best feature of this flat is the terrace. It is spacious and faces south with a terrific view of the mountains and not overlooked. There is a full-size wooden table under a sheltered area and four sturdy high-quality wooden chairs. There are two sun beds with cushions supplied. Maria is a superb hostess, who lives downstairs and couldn't do enough for me. My ipad charging cable failed a few days into my holiday and Maria found me a replacement within 24 hours. Maria, thank you for everything and particularly for the delicious food.

Logement confortable, propre (récent) et spacieux pour un couple. Possibilité de se garer à 20 mètres ou devant la maison si nécessaire. Environnement calme. Situation du village bien centrée (selon les activités souhaitées...) à une trentaine de kilomètres de l'aéroport. Equipements complets, quelques produits ménagers ou de toilette disponibles pour dépanner le premier jour mais une supérette est à 300 mètres de la maison avec l'essentiel (et les prix sont corrects). Bonne connexion wi-fi. J'ai passé un agréable séjour avec un rapport qualité prix du logement très convenable ! :-)

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es wurde sehr gut für uns gesorgt. Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen und der Strand ist nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Wir würden sehr freundlich mit Wein und anderen regionalen Produkten empfangen. Vielen lieben Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Dimitris und sein Sohn Alexandros (der uns bei der Begrüßung eine Flasche Wein, eine Melone und Wasser überreichte) sind sehr nett, freundlich und schnell erreichbar. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Lage ist perfekt: toller Ausblick über die Bucht und das Meer, sowie nur 2 Gehminuten im gemütlichen Urlaubstempo bis zum Strand. Und dort waren wir dann meistens ganz alleine. Erwähnenswert ist für uns auch der Baum vor dem Sitzplatz (ein mit wildem Wein überwachsener Pavillion) der uns morgens beim Frühstück angenehm Schatten gespendet hat. Die Ausstattung der Küche war mehr als nur vollständig und die sonstige Einrichtung im Haus mit liebevollen Details. Die Matratzen der Betten im Doppelzimmer waren für uns sehr angenehm; nicht zu weich und nicht zu hart. Fazit: Wir können das Seahouse uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wer Ruhe abseits vom Massentourismus sucht, verbunden mit einer grandiosen Lage in Strandnähe, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
