The guest house is located at Domkirkeodden, in one of Hamar's most attractive residential areas, only a 15-minute walk from Hamar city center and 5 minutes from Mjøsa and the promenade. Here you get close to both city life and nature. Experience a spacious, architect-designed atrium house that represents an iconic era in Norwegian residential architecture, with a design that provides light, air, and privacy. The sheltered patio provides a pleasant atmosphere, and the surrounding area offers cultural memories, hiking opportunities and beach life, within a short distance.

Enjoy a stylish apartment in one of Hamar city center's oldest houses. The apartment is located 250 meters from the beach and 300 meters from the main square in a quiet street. The apartment is spread over three floors with a living room in the basement. The first floor contains an entrance, kitchen, one bedroom and a toilet. On the second floor there is a bathroom and a bedroom. The apartment is newly renovated, has a fireplace in the kitchen and heating in several of the floors. The rooms that do not have underfloor heating have panel heaters for heating.

Welcome to us! We rent out a studio with its own entrance and bathroom and free parking space. City center about 3 km. Bus stop approx. 300 m. Grocery store approx. 500 m. Ice hockey hall and handball hall (Storhamar) about 2 km. The studio is just as suitable for you who are studying, as for you who are going to Hamar on other occasions. The studio is equipped with a bed (150 cm) and WiFi. The place has no kitchen, but there is a kettle, fridge and microwave. We have Furuberget as the closest neighbor with nice hiking opportunities.

It is walking distance to Hamar city center with many cozy restaurants and cafes. Ankerskogen swimming pool is just nearby.

— ABOUT THE CABIN — We were inspired by The Thief in Oslo. It took two years to build. The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window facing Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveler. Private jacuzzi, two full bathrooms, and peace and privacy in Mjøslis nature. Kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom on the first floor — living room and two bedrooms on the lower floor. Well thought out down to the last detail, 30 minutes from Gardermoen.

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

Apartment at Domkirkeodden, short walk to city center and beaches. Newly renovated house from 1920, featuring ventilation and heated floor. The apartment is 38 m² located on the lower ground floor, with a combined kitchen/living room, bedroom with double bed, bathroom with washer and dryer. TV with Netflix. Two additional beds are available in a separate 15 m² annex. Access to the backyard and a large rooftop terrace with stunning views can be arranged upon request. EV charging available.

Basement apartment

Cozy little basement studio/apartment with space for up to 2 people. 5 minutes by car or a 30-minute walk from Hamar city center. Grocery store 800 m. Bus stop 100 m. Private kitchen with most of the equipment to prepare a meal. Double bed 160x200 cm. Check-in mainly after 4 pm, but please let us know if you want to check in before and we will see what we can do. A family of five lives in the rest of the house, so some noise must be expected, as there is some noise between the floors.

Charming country house with top facilities and a stunning view of Norways biggest lake, Mjøsa. Calm, dog-friendly area for year-round use, located only 30 min from Oslo Airport. Here you have immediate proximity to the wilderness that offers hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, cross-country skiing and several playgrounds for kids. The cottage is luxurious and fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €25 per person.

Basement apartment centrally located in Hamar (Domkirkeodden)

A 2019 apartment with large bathroom, bedroom and living room/kitchen solution. Private entrance from the back of the house, and access to parking on the front of the house. The rest of the house is inhabited by us, and we have three children who can produce some footsteps. Otherwise, the studio is separated from the house with a fireproof and soundproof door, which is locked with a key. TV only has the option of AirPlay, and no apps/channels

Hamar city center.

Modern area-efficient apartment of 32 m2 is very centrally located right by the pedestrian street - a few minutes walk to the train station, the beach promenade, the university and the cultural house. The apartment is on the 4th floor of the building. Double bed in the bedroom - and great sofa bed (120 cm) for 2 in the living room that changes from sofa to bed with a grip. Bed linens and towels are provided and included.
