Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hamilton County

Great place to stay for events at Stephen Foster State Park. My husband left some shirts and they were quickly sent to us.

This is our third year using Pete's Place while attending the Florida Folk Festival. It's a nice relaxing home which fits our needs perfectly, thanks!

If I could give this place a million stars, I would!! Everything was perfect & We will most certainly be back! I’m an outdoorsy guy I would have my coffee in the morning on the back patio area and listen to the turkeys gobbling in the distance and the birds very peaceful and secluded area loved it! 12/10 ps the bed was very very comfortable also!

The cottage was beautifully decorated and perfectly planned. You’ll have everything you need without feeling cluttered. Or stay there on the Suwanee River was nothing but relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed our time on the hammock and the views from the outdoor area looking down at the river. We ventured out and went to Suwanee Springs and checked out some of the local hotspots in the area. We’re about 35 minutes from the Georgia border, so we ventured up there for a little bear as well for some souvenirs for the kids came back. Had a wonderful dinner a nice movie and no kids yell yelling lol

Our stay was amazing! Very tranquil and peaceful setting. We were made aware that recent storms had damaged some of the land, and surrounding sight seeing areas. House was comfy, felt like home. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings listening to nature, seeing fireflies, and star gazing. We will definitely go back!!

We’ve been several times and the place never disappoints! Tucked away in the middle of nowhere but close to the water; we enjoyed watching the deer and listening to the rain hit the roof at night. It’s fully equipped too. We stopped and picked up stuff to cook for dinner and it was cooked at the cabin with supplies that were already there. It’s always a pleasure being here.

This is a special place and we were blessed by our stay here. It's so peaceful and private... sitting on a porch swing, looking out over the lake, watching the wildlife, and listening to nothing but the sounds of nature. Each morning we loved having our coffee while watching the cows come out to pasture and walk down to the lake to drink. For anyone who is looking to step away from everything for a while, relax, and just enjoy the simple pleasures of life in God's creation - this is the perfect spot!

My husband and I decided last minute to take a short trip not far from home for our anniversary. Abby and Steve were very accommodating and their place is the absolute cutest! We went to Big Shoals State Park and Suwannee Springs. We also ate at the Country Skillit out across from the Gateway airport and they have AMAZING food! Abby and Steve's place is just as described and in the pictures with some extra touches that are really special, above and beyond. It was fantastic to listen to the river current at night with the screen door open. I will also say that of course everyone has their personal preferences but I have stayed in many Airbnb's and hotels and this place had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. This is a place we would love to come back to many times!
