Holiday rentals with lake access in Hampshire

Very homely and very well stocked caravan. Nice and quiet when we stayed. Parking space at the side big enough for 2 cars. Samantha was very helpful and very responsive to messages. Activity passes included making this a very reasonably priced place to stay.

John’s Barn is a stunning light and spacious holiday home , beautifully designed and furnished , and set in a peaceful , green countryside setting with acres of woodland to explore . We loved the private and pretty garden , and the walk to the lake to feed the fish . Our grandchildren loved the trampoline and play area , and the tree swing in the garden . Bobbie is a warm and friendly host who respected our privacy - we really enjoyed meeting her . We enjoyed visiting Romsey, and loved exploring the New Forest and all it has to offer . We will be returning - something we rarely do !

A really nice little lodge on a quiet side, suitable for families with young children

The lodge was very large & clean. Easily can sleep 8 guests. The large tv was amazing & one in the bed was luxury. the queen bed was very comfortable. The garden is huge & my family came over & we all enjoyed playing outdoor games & the Pool table was a bonus! Great places to walk your dog nearby. Very private & quiet. I wished I could have stayed longer than just a couple of nights. I would definitely like to return again.

Three of us and the dog stayed at David’s cottage and we had a wonderful time. The place was spotless when we entered, it was everything we needed. David was very communicative and helpful. We spent a lot of time in the garden as luckily the weather was in our favour and it was fenced in so the dog could run around with furniture for us to use. The cottage is in a perfect location, off of the main road so it was quiet and peaceful and just down the road from the sandbanks which we visited frequently. I highly recommend anyone interested in staying here I haven’t got a single fault! :)

A lovely, relaxing couple of nights stay. The Coach House has all you need, is warm and cosy and very comfortable. The beds are super comfy and the duvets really warm and cosy. The garden is very private and a lovely feature, and for anyone staying in warmer weather has everything you need to spend plenty of time outdoors. If you're looking to keep your steps up, try a walk round the lakes, lots of bird life, very interesting. The lighting system took a bit of getting used to but is very ambiant and well thought out. The kitchen has plenty of space so you can cook and chat. It would have been good if the oven had worked but we were told about this beforehand and provided with an airfryer so could work around this quite easily. The host was always quick to respond, kept in touch and made our stay very easy. I would recommend The Coach House for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. All the quirky little touches make The Coach House quite unique and we would definately return.

We stayed here as a family to visit our extended family who live locally. Anthony welcomed us and was extremely pleasant and friendly, few tips on places to eat etc It is a lovely lodge tucked away in the countryside and only 10 minutes drive to the nearest town with all amenities that you could need. 25-30 minutes drive to Bournemouth. Lots of lovely country pubs in the surrounding areas. Spotlessly clean and perfect place to relax in between visits to family members. Would definitely stay here again if it’s available when visiting them again.

Our stay at The Picture Box was perfect! We stayed the night before my wedding at Farbridge and there was plenty of room for 4 of us and the house had everything we needed. It was super cosy whilst being light and airy. Chris was very responsive and a fab host. Would definitely stay again!

Great location in Gosport in walking distance to many interesting places. Great apartment for our needs with 2 kids and a parent visiting friends in the area.

Perfect place to get away from a busy life. Alex was amazing with responding if questions were asked. It’s a gorgeous studio flat and feels like you’re at home. Within walking distance for a lot of food options and the beach is right next door.

A perfect place for my wife and two boys. Central to various locations, peaceful surroundings and plenty of room . The place was great. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, lazy sofas and a great breakfast bar to enjoy a family breakfast. The washing facilities has also eased the workload when we get home too haha. A home from home and we'll definitely be back everytime we travel down.

Good value place to stay while visiting for work, spacious and well equipped

Had a really lovely stay, the caravan was well kept and spotless! Very clean bedrooms and bathroom and a lovely balcony area. Warm & cosy and the parking was ideal. Clear instructions on how to check in and find the caravan. I would definitely like to stay again when I'm next in the area!

Andrew is a very good host who is helpful and responsive. His flat is centrally located, within walking distance to amenities in Westbourne and Town Centre. The flat is very well maintained with some interesting artwork. The room itself is fairly spacious and the bed is nice and comfortable. The separate bathroom is just next to the bedroom and is clean and spacious. Overall, I had a great experience staying there for 19 nights. Definitely will recommend it to anyone.

What a stunning property, great amenities, private garden and the wider estate was beautiful. Sandra was there to greet us and always available with advise on where to eat locally etc. Sandra allowed us to roam around her gardens and lake, swans, ducks, geese and deer to be found. The two local pubs, both within 10 minute walk were warm and welcoming serving lovely food. The location on the very edge of the New Forest gave is great access to the area. We explored every day and found somewhere new. We would book here again for sure.

Lovely little cottage with a secure garden. The village has a fantastic little shop for everything you need and a very friendly village pub with great food.

We stayed there for a long stay and the area and the building are amazing. Our dogs joined us and loved the beautiful walks around the area. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby and you are close to Chichester. The cottage is beautiful and the site is fabulous. We would love to stay in the same location again

Had a lovely three night stay at Lake Cottage. The surroundings are beautiful and our two dogs loved having the enclosed garden to play in. Morning walks around the lake were peaceful due to the secluded nature of the cottage. Would definitely recommend for others. The cottage itself is modern, clean and very well maintained.

Weir Cottage was the perfect place for our weekend. We wanted to walk in the forest, dip our toes in the sea and do a little shopping so we were very content at Weir Cottage. The garden is an oasis of calm and quiet and was a unique place to relax at the end of the day. Shane was the perfect host and a mine of local information. Weir Cottage will be the first place we'll search for next time we plan to revisit the area.

A lovely 2 bed AirBnB that was well equipped (including dishwasher and washing machine), comfortable, charming and homely. The host's communication is excellent and friendly and I can heartily recomend staying here. The Smugglers Inn pub is nearby (but not at all noisy) and serves great food. There are a couple of other places to eat/drink in the village that looked very enticing but we didn't get the opportunity to try them. Maybe next time. It's in a great location within a short drive of various attractions and local villages and towns. All in all, a great discovery and I'm sure we'll use this particular AirBnB again.

A beautiful clean and comfortable cottage in a fantastic location. Beautifully decorated and well resourced with everything you would need. Great communication with Jeffrey prior, during and after our visit. Would recommend.

We loved The Four Horseshoes! The house was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. We cooked several meals there and ate at the pub a few times. Can't recommend the pub enough -- very welcoming staff and the food was absolutely delicious! A great spot, quiet and peaceful, perfect for our family of six. We would definitely stay again!
