We stayed in June, all together 3 adults and Katie couldn’t have been more welcoming. The house is marvellous, the location central to the many sights around Netheravon. We would definitely recommend the house and would come again.

Ruth and Calum were amazing to deal with. Ours was a last minute reservation and they were very responsive and helpful. The location is amazingly beautiful and the surrounds are worth exploring. Very clean and tidy accommodation which is very accurate to the description.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was quiet and convenient, and the host was friendly and responsive throughout. Just a couple of small suggestions: adding a curtain or blind to the front door would help with privacy, and the internet connection was a bit slow for streaming YouTube on the TV. Other than that, everything was great—we really enjoyed our time and would happily stay again. Thank you!

Only used as a place to stay after a wedding but would’ve loved to stay longer! Good communication, lovely and clean and very nicely decorated. Would definitely return

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. Tor’s cottage was absolutely delightful. We felt right at home. It was cosy, comfortable with plenty of light. The little added touches were very much appreciated such as a beautiful tablecloth on the garden table, full pots of coffee and tea as well as porridge and muesli. There was also a loaf of bread, butter and milk in the fridge. All so thoughtful. Another added bonus and thanks to the good weather, was sitting in the little garden surrounded by beautiful countryside and chickens, pigs and horses (in their field) who all came visiting whenever we were sitting outside with a glass of something. The cottage is perfectly placed for Marlborough and Hungerford

The cottage is in a great location, very well appointed (especially the kitchen) and very clean. The bed is comfortable with good quality linen. The garden is a great space to relax in with sun and shade (we were fortunate with the weather!) and is dog safe. Keith and Paula provided lots of lovely touches such as beautiful fresh flowers, drinks in the fridge, dog towels and bowls. There are two local pubs within walking distance (about a mile and a bit it) The location is great as you can access the coast and forest walks very easily. I would thoroughly recommend the cottage, we had a lovely stay there.

Had a lovely three night stay in Acorn hut. Spacious and very private outdoor space with a hot tub for relaxing. Bathroom facilities were clean and shower was great. The hut itself was cosy with everything you need for a few nights away. Big enough for my partner and I as well as our large greyhound. The host was lovely and helpful with advice about places to go and the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a peaceful spot.

Had an amazing stay for my daughter’s 2nd birthday can’t recommend it enough caravan was spotless and the site was amazing

We hired this for a few days with family to celebrate my nans 70th birthday. Absolutely beautiful house and gardens and the facilities are amazing. We live locally so knew about the area but loved having a swimming pool, tennis courts and snooker table for all of us to enjoy. The lounge was bigger than we thought and comfortably sat all of us. We also received a helpful guide a few days before our stay which gave us all the information we needed. Overall a really lovely stay, thank you!

We loved staying in the boathouse. Ideal for a family with children. Wonderful location looking over the creek . We didn’t hear the ferry which is 5 minutes away. We liked the sound of children playing on the other side of the creek. The pool area was recently upgraded. The property is well equipped and comfortable. Catherine was an excellent host who looked after every detail professionally.

Andrew & Jo made us feel right at home during our stay. We loved our whole trip, especially the pool, quiet setting, and HUGE tv in the living room perfect for movies.

We loved the lodge and this was the 2nd time we had come back. The windows were filthy, and there was cobwebs inside and out and just wasn’t very clean. We came back as the first time we thought it was beautiful. The skirting boards and bathrooms were grubby. Apart from it being dirty, for the amount charged, would have thought it would have been as nice as the first time we came.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The added luxuries throughout the house were a great touch. From the snack basket, to the toiletries and the barbecue supplies. Everything was easy to use and welcoming. The uniqueness of having exclusive and nearby access to a pool and hot tub in a small property was perfect for our young family. We can put the kids to bed and enjoy the amenities together while making sure the kids are OK - something not possible in hotels and other resorts. The space was great. Clean, well-stocked and had everything you'd need for a summer retreat. The combination of the pool, dog, BBQ, pizza oven and included games meant our kids thoroughly enjoyed their time - us too. Definitely a winning combo. Thanks for having us!

thankyou to our host Sibylle for being so attentive friendly always on hand to advise and assist ,gave us loads of information on walks surroundings , wood burner Hot tub ready when we requested ,stunning setting and access to forest at the bottom of the driveway ,so peaceful and you just didn't want to leave ,everything you thought you'd forgot to bring was available all in a wonderful relaxing stay thankyou

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return. Our hosts were a delight and exceptionally helpful and friendly.. The location is amazing. We were watching red kites in flight and even heard a cuckoo. Lots of walking trails nearby too. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Great location to get to lots of various locations, we visited New Forest, Southampton, Portsmouth and walked down to the shingle beach, which was only a ten minute walk! Lovely and clean place, small but not tiny, just enough room for two adults and two small dogs. Everything was a thoughtful touch, from kitchen wear to comfort. Would definitely stay again if I was ever visiting the same area. Jackie was super helpful and very friendly, which is always a bonus. The surrounding area is residential and also partly industrial but noise level was low, which we appreciated. Plenty of space to park your car and close to the train station.

It was a pleasure stopping at Sharon and Jon’s Shepherd Hut. It was part of their lovely house in an idyllic secluded area of Dorset, with easy access to the coast. Would highly recommend for those looking to get away.

What a stunning location, so peaceful, right on the lake. Loved the surroundings and being close to nature. The Lodge was well appointed, clean and beautifully decorated. Appreciated the breakfast items on arrival. Unfortunately the BBQ was broken, which we were sad about, so we were only able to use disposable BBQs, which thankfully they provided onsite. The outdoor lighting was faulty, but Fi and Alex were responsive and able to provide a solution. We also found the mattress a bit too soft and squishy and not great quality. Finally, they advertise a 2 ring burner in the kitchen, however there is only 1 ring burner there...just something to be aware of if you're looking to cook indoors at Kingfisher Lodge. Despite the above points, we really enjoyed our stay at Kingfisher Lodge and would return to Headlands Farm again based on our experience, where we might try one of the other lodges onsite.

Matthew’s place is the upper end of 5*. Pristine presentation, crisp linen, blankets and pillows. This is a boutique home. Matthew’s communication was regular, and with the right information at the right time. This is what you need to know now, and then next and next. Anyone who has not been to the New Forest, it is an eye opener. Absolutely stunning. Bieulieu is stunning with great walks and the New Forest is cycling Mecca!

We spent three nights in the garden room and we loved it. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Absolutely loved listening to the birdsong morning and evening! The bonus for us was the 8 am delivery of the breakfast box - so delicious and welcoming. We would highly recommend this little gem especially if like us you want to include a visit to Avebury which is very close by 😊

Wonderful two night stay with lots of to do! The farm shop and local pub were great. Everyone was so friendly and our three dogs absolutely loved exploring the New Forest! Great location - there is even a huge doggy swimming pond just opposite! We loved it here and would come back tomorrow if we could. Thank you

A lovely, spacious modern barn conversion. Quiet and with a lovely view of the fields, despite being just a few minutes from Basingstoke. Chris lives in the nearby farmhouse and was readily available to address any questions or queries we had. Would highly recommend!!
