Townhouse holiday rentals in Hancock County

This is truly a "one of a kind" property. We are so thankful to the owners for sharing this inspirational place with us. We did not use the guest house, but after seeing it, we would love to return with the grandparents in tow! The guest house has been recently renovated with very comfortable accommodations for at least 2 people. A pull out sofa in the guest house could accommodate 1 more, and the main house also has futons. My 3 children were thrilled with the selection of outdoor toys, puzzles, and games at the property. We were able to have tandem kayaks delivered so we could adventure as a family each day and explore the amazing islands surrounding the property. I cannot describe how much we all loved playing the piano in this house. The high wood ceilings and walls made for beautiful acoustics. I haven't enjoyed playing music so much since I was a kid. It's obvious that an incredible amount of love and thought went into the design of this home. Thank you for the beautiful memories!

Marc's house was excellent for our needs. He communicated well ahead of time! Great little kitchen and beautiful park of Desert Island. Cannot wait to go back!

Loved my visit to southwest harbor and Acadia NP. The Airbnb was in a good location, about 30 mins to the park and bar harbor. The town is a little quiet and closes early but we did not mind. Would definitely come back.

The location is fabulous! Super close to the Cadillac Mountain entrance of the park and a short drive or bike to the Eagle Lake carriage roads. We walked into Bar Harbor. Everything I could think of was in the kitchen tools and appliances.

Jiayuan’s house and his kindness deserve a 10 out of 5. Although we arrived late due to heavy traffic, everything was perfectly prepared for a smooth self-check-in, and the instructions were very clear. The room and bathroom were spotless—no mold, no stray hairs—cleaner than most hotels we’ve stayed at. The bedding was also very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and every restaurant Jiayuan recommended was excellent. He checked in with us regularly to make sure we were enjoying our trip. When our car broke down, we were in a difficult situation, but Jiayuan went above and beyond to help us, and we’re truly grateful for his support. If we visit Acadia National Park again, we’ll definitely stay here again!

Very nice place for our vacation. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very nice and quiet house, a bit outdated furniture but nonetheless everything was very clean. Perfect location with ocean view and very close to the park and the port! Definitely will look to stay at the same place when we visit Acadia Park next time.

Ingrid’s place was very clean and extremely spacious. It is much roomier than appears in the listing. We were all very comfortable here. In addition, the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. The place is very private and in a quiet area. We could hear the occupants in the unit next door, but they were not there very much. She provided some great info prior to check-in that was useful when determining what to pack and buy from the store. She also provided some great local recommendations. We stayed here while visiting Acadia, and it was less than a 30 minute drive to the visitor center. The seawall was only 10 minutes away and a great place to watch the sunrise.

Excellent location - close enough to downtown Bar Harbor without the crowds. Place was neat, well equipped and enjoyable. Will definitely do it again!

5 Stars – A Perfect Stay in Acadia! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful and cozy home near Acadia National Park. The place was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had all the amenities. The home comes with a fully functioning kitchen with appliances such as cooking range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, etc. The bedrooms are spacious with clean bathrooms, extra linens and pillows. The home is part of a nice airbnb community with a backyard firepit to meet & share with other travelers, after a fun day at Acadia. It is located right on the border (20 minutes drive) of Acadia National park, with easy access to restaurants and Walmart. Derek was extremely responsive and clear with his communication & instructions. Highly recommend this place and cannot wait to be back!

Great location just a few minutes away from downtown bar harbor! The partial ocean view from the balcony was so pretty. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. This place would be great for larger groups especially families with children due to the large loft with multiple beds!

This was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. The place was clean, roomy, and looked as advertised. The beds were comfortable, the fridge was stocked with a few drinks and snacks and we had plenty of towels. This reminds me of how most of the listings on Airbnb USED to be (meaning the hosts didn't nickel and dime you for everything, actually went out of their way to make you feel welcome and provided basic amenities. I absolutely recommend this to others and if I return to Bar Harbor, I will see if this place is available again.

Nice quiet location that was a short walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs in Bar Harbor. We would recommend the place to anyone visiting Bar Harbor.

The house was fabulous. Great location, walkable to everything. Sleeping rooms were perfect. All in all….highly recommend and would stay again!

Two bedroom 2.5 bath, comfortable townhouse in a quiet neighborhood. About 15-20 minute drive to Bar harbor/Acadia. Very comfortable- we enjoyed our stay.

Michael is wonderful host, prompt response… and gave very useful local suggestions/recommendations.
