The Palm House at Hjelmsjöborg

Nestled in a rhododendron in the northern part of Hjelmsjöborg Park is this octagonal tower Palm House. This is a very unique building where you get a home like nothing else. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stucco fixtures, brick paintings, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a stone-laid patio with a Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house is Hjelmsjön's nice tennis courts. In the winter months, it can get a little cold, then you have to crawl up on the sofa and light a fire in the fireplace.

The location of the cottage is a haven for the fishing enthusiast as there is opportunity for fishing. The house itself has a lot of charm with open nice living areas and fireplaces. Enjoy your stay at our private mooring with breathtaking views over our lake. You can reach our farm, shop, café and pizzeria by canoe.There you have access to our campsite's shower and facilities. You can order breakfast in our café or bring your own campsite picknick. An adventurous stay without running water, electricity or a toilet, away from civilization !

Relaxing old wood house

My house is adorable, next to a lake. It's peacefull, lots of windows. You can take the canoe , paddling ower the lake, or just sit and relax on the deck. Cold days, sit inside by the fireplace, read, eat a nice dinner in one off the rooms with windows owerlooking the lake. Small bedrooms,leaning walls , give you a feeling off going back 100 years in old sweden, when the house was built. You can not swim from my garden, but 200m from my house is a beach. My house is in a small village.

Simple living on organic farm

Most welcome to spend a few nights in our cozy guesthouse in Swedish rural idyll. The farm is located within walking distance of the lake and forest. The home is simple, a kitchen and bedroom with a private entrance in an old brew house. The house is carefully renovated with clay and linseed oil, organic, healthy and recycled materials. The accommodation is not perfect but has very simple style but with warm water and heating. On the property, there are farms, cats and sheep to visit.
