Monguljae was a house built by my parents in 2021, from the square crooked land that huddled in the hinterland. On March 1, 2024, I opened the annex that I had envisioned as Sarangchae from the time I first designed it as an Airbnb. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the convenience of a pleasant accommodation while enjoying the sensibility of a country house in ⭐️nature at the same time.⭐️ On December 1, 2025, we completed the renovation of the terrace and deck to make Monguljae even more lovable. We've added a teaspoon of the feeling of a cabin in a small forest.🍂 We carried out construction work on the entire terrace and deck to create a barbecue area where guests can enjoy the outdoor atmosphere while minimizing the impact of wind and rain. Another highlight is the beautifully tidy yard after three weeks of construction work! A wall was built between the main building and the annex, transforming it into an even more independent space.☺️

We opened the accommodation with the hope that it will be a time for you to be a little happy and heal. A mushroom-shaped ocher house built directly on a 600-pyeong site for only one team. Recently, the windows, floors, and walls have been repaired, making it look like a new house, and the floors and walls are covered with ocher flooring and ocher wallpaper, allowing you to fully appreciate the owner's efforts. 'A day like a gift' is an experience-type accommodation located in the forest at the top of Domaryeong (700m above sea level) in Minjujisan, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. We have remodeled a wooden house (Dalbat House, 2005) and a family-built earthen house (So Young Hall, 2006) for our elderly parents, so that only one team of guests can stay in the entire house. Recently, a tree house (Wol Forest House, 2024) was built on a 6-7 meter-high Japanese cedar tree in the Wol Forest, and this can also be experienced for free. The experience is divided into traditional cultural experiences and ecological experiences, which are offered in a variety of paid and free experiences. The mud house was built with wood, earth, and stone from the moon field, like the mountain village of our ancestors. You can experience lighting a fire in a traditional house, where you can feel the wisdom of a house that is cool and warm. The words 'A day like a gift' are engraved in the merchant room of the mud house. We will try to give everyone who comes here a simple gift called 'a day like a gift'.
