We live here with our 10 mo old daughter, friendly pup and cat so you may see us in the front yard or porch. Ask about pets, as long as they are friendly it shouldn't be a problem!

Are you a "tourist" or a "traveler?" Your answer will determine how you feel about this property, a turn-of-the-19th-Century hotel-cum-AirBnb reputed to have once been a brothel (but as Mark Twain said, "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.") It's old and creaky and all wood and tall stairs to the rooms. BUT - it's an ART gallery, run by the artist; clean, nicely appointed bathrooms/showers with great amenities. Well-equipped kitchen w/many freebies. Bed/bath rooms are clearly a labor of love. Some might call it a bit "rustic" - I found it endearing, with nary an up-turned pinky finger to be found. Couple of doggie pals. Nice balcony overlooking weekend "flea market" and "shotgun" wedding chapel out back. A-1 saloons and gastro-pubs everywhere around - alas, with real NOISE well into the wee hours: so room selection is SERIOUS PRIORITY. Price is a rare bargain, considering Seattle is now certifiably, Guinness Book, bat-**** COST CRAZY. Angielena was helpful throughout.

Overall the place is great. I had some issues with the noise upstairs from the other room, but that was only for one night. And Leland responded to my complaint quickly. Other than that I can’t think of anything that’s not working well. It’s close to the light rail and very quiet neighborhood

Christa’s home was excellent. She was kind enough to pick us from the airport,& also drop us at the Cruise Pier the next day. She was there right there to answer to all our queries. Very neat and well kept home. High rating to the place!

Fur Den: Luxury Ensuite Room for Dog Lovers

This was my 2nd time at the Fur Den. Again everything was amazing. The pups are adorable. The house and room are immaculate. This is one of the few shared places I've seen in the area that had a private ensuite bathroom and that is a MAJOR plus. It's about a 5 minute walk to a grocery store, several bars and restaurants, a few fast food places, and just off 2 of the main streets of West Seattle. Will likely return here.
