Cabin holiday rentals in Hardanger

Our five-day stay in this beautiful, large house on the island was wonderful. It was a great adventure to travel to the island by motorboat. The house is located on a hill with magnificent views in all directions and offers both plenty of space and comfort. The hot tub was surprisingly no longer available, but that didn't bother us much given the manageable length of stay and the very changeable weather anyway. Elisabeth was a wonderful hostess. The information was very precise and helpful. She always responded to questions super quickly and kindly. We highly recommend everyone to experience this island adventure and enjoy this luxurious property.

Fantastic family-friendly cottage in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful stay in this great cabin! The location is beautiful, with beautiful nature and quiet surroundings – perfect for a relaxing holiday. The cabin was very clean and tidy upon arrival, and it was clear that the host attaches great importance to good standards and maintenance. As a family of two adults and three children, we especially appreciated the large selection of toys for the children. This made the stay extra pleasant and relaxing for all of us. The host was very welcoming and responded quickly to all inquiries, which gave us a safe and good experience from start to finish. We highly recommend this cabin!

Rolf and Lena's cabin is beautiful and nothing is missing. Location is unique! Hosts are very friendly. Lena had left us a coffee, Easter pastries and fresh flowers to welcome us. We had a great week here and even saw aurora lights.

The house is very charming and beautiful. And an extraordinary value. Noten and Viviann are super hosts! Very responsive and accommodating. The whole family was excited about the house and we would love to come back.

We had a great stay at Jane's chalet. Everything was in compliance, the "village" is very pleasant and very safe (set back from the road, very few cars) to walk your dog, or let children play. There are also several nearby and accessible hikes. The accommodation is small but ample and very cozy.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Oddgeir’s cabin. The place is beautifully decorated and very cozy. There were lots of little touches to create a warm atmosphere, like blankets, candles, and animal hides to sit on. The kitchen was very well equipped. The cabin is set in a peaceful and stunning location, you truly feel like you’re away from the world for a bit. Our dog felt at home very quickly and loved the great walking opportunities right in the area. We would absolutely recommend this place!

Such a beautiful cottage, right on the water. Left and right, nothing but water and nature. We have rarely seen anything so beautiful. Communication with Oystein was straightforward and easy. Since our navigation system misled us, Oystein helped us out of our predicament very quickly with patience. When we arrived, the heating was already on and it was cozy and warm. The bed was facing the window, so we had a perfect view of the fjord from there. The kitchen was very well equipped for our holiday needs. We prepared simple dishes every day. The attempt to shower with the cold fjord water worked great, but it is certainly not to everyone's taste. It was a great experience. Oystein has created a little paradise. It is absolutely recommended to visit this beautiful place and stay there for a few days or longer. We will be happy to come back. Sigrid and Achim

We had a wonderful stay at Jarand’s cabin! The location is incredible and the cabin had stunning views. We enjoyed going for a hike in the area and going for a cool down in the stream. The cabin had everything we needed, including things to make coffee and easy meals. We were a bit worried about finding it, but Jarand gave helpful directions. If you follow Google maps to the coordinates, you’ll find where you should park easily and then have a short but steep hike up a clearly marked path. It was wonderful to disconnect for a few days and we have already recommended Jarand’s place to a few friends!

We enjoyed our stay. We were there 2 nights and did not meet a single person during that time, delicious!! 😅 the sauna was the reason we booked this cabin and that did not disappoint. it was wonderful to use the sauna. it was a bit of a search for the cabin but once we were there we enjoyed it a lot. make sure you think carefully in advance what you need because it is quite a walk until you get there. the view is fantastic and fun to spot the sheep on the mountain. also very nice that there is just electricity in the cabin. the toilet system also works great.

The accommodation was beautiful and Jan was directly accessible at all times! Would recommend to everyone! You have everything you need.

Nina’s cottage is beautifully located with a stunning view of the fjords. The house is fantastic and fully equipped – everything you need is there. It’s the perfect base to explore the Hardangerfjord and the surrounding area. Nina is a fantastic host: very helpful and responds very quickly. Highly recommended!

A beautiful large house, in a great quiet location! The kids loved the toys!

We had an incredible time at Rune‘s beautiful cabin. I could imagine no better place to relax and have a good time with family or friends. We saw many snow bunnies - during cooking, during breakfast or during reading in the evening. You can feel the love that went into this place from the second you enter it and Rune and the other hosts were very responsive. We would love to come back and also experience other seasons of the year in this comfy cabin!

This place is 11 out of 10!! A place of dreams. The location and house are absolutely stunning and Mette and Kristian are beyond fabulous hosts always going above and beyond! Our favorite parts of the stay: kayaking in the morning sunlight around the little inlets, fishing from the dock, a sunset sauna or hot tub followed by a fjord cold plunge/swim, relaxing on the deck with a beer, sipping coffee while watching the birds and listening to the waves lap against the dock, cooking in the well stocked kitchen and more. We will be back!!!

We were looking to experience a little of a Norwegian hytte and enjoyed our stay tremendously. What a thoughtfully planned and beautifully designed place. Thank you for sharing this amazing space for others to enjoy. We took a dip in the Fjord, enjoyed the stillness of the forest, and took in the unforgettable views of the water and hills. It was sufficiently far from major town centers while still having a small town center ( Eikelandsosen) 10 minutes away by car with supermarket and amenities. A wonderful location.

That was a perfect and peaceful week. The place feels very homey and cozy. Has everything that is needed for a long stay away from civilization.

The place and view was even more beautiful than the listing showed. It had all the luxuries you might need and even though there are houses close by it felt very peaceful and private.
