Sauda is only 15 minutes away by car. Here you will find most things, including a swimming pool. Many opportunities for great mountain trips and other nature experiences throughout the year. Svandalen ski center is 15 minutes away by car. The cabin is rented to guests who have respect for the fact that they live in our private cabin and is NOT rented out for parties and private events.

"Drengstovo" with a lovely view in Hardanger

Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balkong facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .

Free Parking, good whifi, short trips to wonderful sightseeing 30 - 45 MIN. 50 min to starting point to Trolltunga, 15 min to,Huse dalen, Dronningstien, Eidfjord and many more like Vøringsfoss. We're excited to offer accommodation in a truly unique location, in our selfcatering cabin by the fjord. Only neighbours are the birds, the fish and the apple trees. Combining modern architecture and amenities with the look of a traditional boathouse, there aren't many places like this around. 2 km to groceries, restaurant and gas station. 30 km to Trolltunga trailhead. Lots of local trails.
