Monthly Rentals in Hardwell Wood

We had a perfect weekend stay at Matt’s place. It was comfortable and cosy, and had everything we needed for a weekend away. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, the bed was super comfortable, parking and access was very easy and the place is conveniently located for exploring the Cotswolds (or visiting Brize Norton if you’re a plane nerd like me!). Matt was very friendly and responsive. We’d definitely stay again. One thing I will mention is that there is a young family next door, which isn’t great if you’re a light sleeper like me. Easily solved with ear plugs though and of course this is no fault of the host. Thankyou Matt!

Lovely little stay. Cute place- beautiful church and fields just yards away. Debra kindly posted my AirPods I left back to me- overall the perfect little escape for a few days with easy access to wander the ridgeway.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Amanda was an exceptional host—warm, supportive, and incredibly thoughtful, even offering to pick me up from the train station. I was greeted with an amazing hamper filled with treats and essentials, a perfect welcome. The thatched cottage itself is stunning—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and full of character. Nestled in a quiet, secluded rural spot, it still manages to be just a stone’s throw from Swindon’s best attractions, making it the ideal balance of peaceful retreat and convenience. The kitchen is gorgeous, and the enclosed back area is a hidden gem—totally private and tranquil, complete with a teepee that added a lovely, unique touch. Great WiFi and full streaming services made relaxing in the evenings a breeze. This was a fantastic stay that gave me exactly what I needed: rest, comfort, and a few days of proper sleep in a beautiful setting. Thank you, Amanda, for everything 🥰

Absolutely stunning way to spend my birthday weekend with our two boys. The accommodation and surrounding landscape was just gorgeous. Everything was thought of and the attention to detail, cleanliness and welcome gifts were just perfect. We will be back!! Exceptional stay.
