Guesthouse holiday rentals in Harpeth River

this is my second or third time staying at this Airbnb. It’s always very clean, the kitchen is stocked with cookware so you *can* cook if you don’t want to go out every night, closet is spacious and access to washer and dryer is very helpful.

The home was located in the heart of the 12th avenue district of Nashville. it was close to all the bars, shops, and restaurants. Although the home was walking distance, it was far enough away to escape the noise and have some privacy. The parking was an added bonus as this seems to be a premium anywhere around the 12th avenue district (during peak times). We were also very grateful to have a responsive host for recommendations, etc.

This carriage house is the best place to stay if visiting East Nashville OR if basing out of there to see all of Nashville! It's located above Molly's garage in an adorable neighborhood that's seamlessly flows into other historic neighborhoods. There are so many things close by, and Molly has great recommendations for local, walkable spots for food, etc. Getting in the car is easy if wanting to go into the city or other areas of Nashville, as well. Molly is a great host with excellent communication! The carriage house is designed with so many things in mind and the beds are quite comfortable. It is meticulously clean and we found parking to be very easy (& free) on nearby Scott Ave. If you like walkable neighborhoods, with timeless, bungalow charm, great coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, and vintage clothing stores/unique home shops, this is the place for you! Greenery abounds in all directions, as well, and there wasn't an unfriendly person anywhere!

Since we weren't staying for long, it was perfect for our weekend getaway. It had everything we needed and the location was perfect for where we wanted to go. If you're staying for a short time, I highly recommend.

Great little place to stay for a couple looking to get away for the weekend! Very clean, very beautiful, nice shower, and the outside area is super cool. We will book again!

this place is soooo cosy!! we had the best stay - super comfortable, cute and right in the heart of the beautiful 12 south neighbourhood. also walkable to downtown for all the action! the hosts were really accommodating and flexible, even providing a kettle for us Brits 😅 100% recommend this gorgeous home - easily one of the nicest air bnbs I've ever stayed in!

We really enjoyed the location and the neighborhood. Many independent and interesting little restaurants to choose from. The bed was comfortable, the bedding was very nice and the pillows plump. It was very quiet at night. When we left in the morning we were a only a few minutes from the interstate.

Set in the back of the yard, this peaceful little apartment loft was cozy, comfortable and quiet . The location was perfect, with a park nearby and 12 South shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance. Lori has taken care to provide all of the amenities anyone could ask for including a French press, which delighted my husband! The bed was extremely comfortable with nice linens and pillows. The stairs were well lit and the loft was decorated with comfortable chairs, a gorgeous plant and fun, whimsical notes. Everything was spotless and the a/c unit was easy to use. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely plan on staying there again!

Our stay at the Garden House was fantastic. Even before we arrived our hosts answered all our questions and gave us some great local recommendations for places to check out. The house itself is peaceful and open, with plenty of natural light making it an ideal space to relax in after exploring Nashville! The surrounding neighbourhood is very walkable, we loved being able to go out to local spots and stroll back. If we could’ve stayed longer, we would’ve!

We had such a great stay at Collin's placr! The neighborhood is adorable and peaceful, with plenty of food options in walking distance. Collin was super helpful providing us with lots of recommendations in the area, and we were impressed with everything we tried! The house comfortable and exactly as described. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our time here. The home honestly feels brand new and so cozy! Everything is exactly as pictured and described with such attention to detail. The beds were comfy, the kitchen and bathroom very well stocked. The house is located in a really lovely residential area but only a short walk to restaurants and shops. We felt very safe and comfortable even coming in very late both nights we were there. It’s easy and inexpensive to catch an Uber into town. Highly recommend this spot! We would definitely come back again.

Alyssa was the best host ever! She reached out and gave us great directions and responded to our needs even after we checked in. Her place was so cute and exactly what we were hoping for. The location could not be better. We wanted a walkable area where we could get great food and fun shopping. Oh my! That is exactly what 12 South is like. My friends and I plan on staying here again and recommending Alyssa’s place to all of our friends!

Stayed at Katherine’s place for one night to break up a long drive and I’m so sad we couldn’t stay longer. This is by far the cutest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. My mom, aunt, and I were all joking about how badly we wished we could live there permanently. It was decorated beautifully, was in the perfect location in Nashville to not be too far away from the attractions I love but in such a lovely/quiet neighborhood, and also Katherine was the perfect host. Her instructions and info made the stay super straightforward and she was so friendly I felt completely comfortable being in her guest cottage behind her house. Would 100% stay here the next time I’m in Nashville.

If I could give 6 stars I would.

Just to note, the space is above a garage, so you will definitely hear when it opens and closes and it is also pretty close to the highway so you may hear the traffic from time to time. I was in town for a concert at Bridgestone Arena, and her place was only like 2 miles away. I also appreciated being able to bring my maltipoo. It is a truly a beautiful space in a great location. I would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Alece’s place! The space was well appointed and very comfortable. We loved exploring the adorable neighborhood which offers a quiet retreat once you’ve had your fill of downtown Nashville. The neighbors were very quiet, with the exception of a little barking from the dog next door. This didn’t bother us as we are up early and love animals. Perfect hotel alternative. Could not recommend more!

Irena was a great host. My stay in Nashville was made easy by her taking the time to look after my needs. The Loft is a perfect place to relax and recharge after a long day exploring. Though the neighborhood is in a period of transition, it was safe and mostly quiet. The neighbors upstairs, occasionally tromped around and you could hear them, however, it was not that disruptive. Overall, my stay was perfect. The space is ideal for one to two people with room on the main floor to stretch out on the sofa.

our stay was so much better than expected. The guesthouse was very clean and beautiful. The campsite to the side was a very cool addition. we had fun roasting smores and talking by the campfire. The hot tub was a surreal. I did not want to leave it 😂 the bed was extremely comfy. way better than my own lol I definitely will come again. 10/10

Matt’s place is in a great location- close to tons of restaurants and coffee shops. It was perfect for our family of 3. My toddler was able to use the pack n play to sleep in (which Matt kindly retrieved for us upon request) and he loved playing with the toys and couple of books. We would stay here again and recommend to others!

Kyle and Renay's home was lovely and had all the comforts of home. It was located close to a number of things to do and see. Kyle and Renay were very easy to contact with questions and gave us very helpful information on how to navigate the city. We would definitely seek "The Birdhouse" out again when in Nashville!

We stayed here for two nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was spotless, peaceful, and felt like a true home away from home. One of the biggest highlights for me was the yard—it’s spacious, well-kept, and completely fenced in, which was perfect for my dog to run around safely. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe, which made it easy to relax and unwind. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with a pet, this place checks all the boxes. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Laura’s accommodations were beautifully decorated with antique pieces which created an elevated experience comparable to any historic hotel or bed and breakfast without the hustle and bustle. The grounds surrounding the apartment were landscaped beautifully. Waking up to look out on the small patio outside the bedroom and get a glimpse of the pool in the wooded and green landscape was so peaceful. This location is convenient to amenities of Nashville and close enough for an enjoyable ride to nearby Franklin for antique shopping. What a great weekend we had and so lucky to find this hidden gem for future weekend getaways. Loved it! Thank you so much!

It was perfect for what I was looking for. The host was very, very responsive and accommodating, and there was never any unknown. The location is great, you can walk to lots of different places plus the host list things to do and whether it’s walking distance or not.There was extra bedding plus pillows and laid out instructions on exactly where to find all of the things. Check out process it was extremely easy and more simple than other Airbnb’s. I have been at. I felt very safe.
